Are we supposed to go research your profile to find out where "your area" is or did you think we were telepathic? You should also give us and idea what a "hang out" is because for some of us, it is Baskin & Robbins 31 Flavors ice cream parlor where we hang out with our friends. Seriously though, I completely empathize with you because you are in a dead state and Furniture City (Grand Rapids) was never much fun even if it was almost as big as Detroit. I left Michigan for Florida in the 90s because the entire state is rapidly dying. If you want to stay in Michigan, Royal Oak (Detroit suburb) is a kinky place compared to Grand Rapids and there are plenty of Michiganders that may post replies in this thread if you tune up your questions.

Hmm, there are a few, I think although my information may be old. There is the munch that meets the third Wednesday of every month at a rest. on Division There's a new place I haven't been to called The Warehouse There's GRALE a BDSM education group that can help you if you are interested There are several in Detroit area if you are on that side of the state. There's a messload of BDSM things going on in Michigan if you want to make the effort to research them.

Usually if you Google your city (or the nearest large metropolitan area) and the word "munch", you should find some good leads.

Theres a group on fetlife called the munch and adult local link directory, she's amassed a phenomenal listing of munches and events around the world (keeping it up to date must be a pain but it's a good starting point) - last I checked she was setting up an independent website list too. I've contemplated making a munch profile here for Preston munch, though have a feeling it would be against the TOS? I've never seen a listing for a munch or event before.

Fetlife is a wonderful resource when it comes to finding local events and meeting local people. Collarme/Collarchat is great. Once I can get a Munch here in St.Pete going, I will post it here on the Collarchat section. I use both Collarme and Fetlife, as each site has its huge advantages. Collarme/Collarchat is the message boards here,chatrooms and other neat features.
