Hey all I'm new here to the whole collar community, I just got a master who is helping me learn about all of this, I'd like to hear more about others experiences as well!

Hi, ann. Welcome to the site!

I read your profile, and it sounds like you have a local Dom in a Mentoring or Protection relationship. Feel free to search for those words using the Search button on the upper right corner of this page, next to Calendar. Basically, there are a lot of men who use that to take advantage of new subs - don't be one.

Feel free to join the General BDSM and Ask A... forums. Great places to learn.

Greetings and welcome to Cm and the forums. You have come to the right place to learn more about the lifestyle as there is a real good group of folks on this side with a vast knowledge about it all. Don't be afraid to ask questions, though sometimes newbies may need a thick skin here. Some of the people are really kewl and others not so much, but please take each advice given and no matter how it comes across knowing they are sharing their knowledge with you for free.

A couple of things that might help you....

-have questions ....Use the search on this side ( little button up there on top ^^^^ on the right hand side) if you have some questions as they may have already been asked...or ask away. Please just watch the dates on the threads and do not respond to anything that is more than three months old....as the Mod's are not found of us doing so. You can always start a new one with your question. DS already suggested that but its a good one to repeat to newbies.

-Check out ResidentSadist book list, its a great list and can help you get info on WIITWD or go to general BDSM thread and there is a good book list there as well.

Hope to see you stick around and become part of the poster here and that you enjoy your time here well doing so. Always nice to have a new face among us.
