I've just watched a video of a woman giving birth, mostly by herself, at/in a beautiful stream. She, and the birth, was magnificent, moving me to tears several times.
Such a sacred event. That this woman did it as so many other women did, from the beginning of time immemorial to not so long ago, in her chosen setting, stirred from deep within my DNA primal memories, feelings and desires.
