Discocurious -> Nipple piercing question (7/11/2013 1:06:47 PM)

Ok, so I popped to he shops today and asked about nipple piercings. They said it would cost £20 but would knock £5 pound off as I would be having both done. I chickened out... I love nipple play but have a few questions if anyone can help?

A How long will it take for my nipples to heal?
B Can I still use clamps on a pierced nipple?
C Do i need to use clamps on a pierced nipple or will weights have the same effect?
D Is there a danger of my nipples over stretching and distorting if I use weights?
E Will you be able to see them through a work shirt?
F On the whole would you say you feel happier or just the same after you have had them pierced?

Ps oh and one more thing. As I have been into nipple play for years will they still be ok to be clamped? Cheers.

Sorry if these questions sound naive...

Thanks

Disco

ok it generally takes about 6 to 8 months for your nipples to heal after they are peirced, once they are healed then becareful if you use clamps on them, for they can start to bleed a bit. if your work shirt is loose then no you wont see then really but if its tight then you will, ad i had mine done last year and love mine

They're one of the slowest piercings out there.

B Can I still use clamps on a pierced nipple?

Absolutely, I do that to my girl all the time. Just pull the nipple out a little and clamp behind the piercing.

C Do i need to use clamps on a pierced nipple or will weights have the same effect?

I can't give a first hand answer to that but I wouldn't expect pinching and pulling to feel the same.

They're probably going to put in fairly thin piercings, something like 14 gauge. I'd worry about that tearing, you'll want a thicker piercing so there's more surface area to hold the weight. I'm of the understanding that's generally done by stretching the hole to accomidate progressively thicker piercings.

E Will you be able to see them through a work shirt?

Yes. Bars are less noticeable than rings but both are potentially detectable. Wearing a padded bra will solve that.

Well I'm a lot happier ;D

That's great guys [:D]

Thank you

Ps I won't be looking for a padded bra, not really my thing but thanks for the advice anyway [:D]

I and a bro. (he has both nips pierced-will say that piercings drastically improve the sensitivity of nipples. ) he did his cuz he liked those on a Slave I was with at the time. He and I were surprised at the extra sensation he had. My Slave said that was why she had hers done. (she had the best nips for play I've played with.).y bros piercer tOld us that if you pierce wrong nips lose some sensitivity. But done right it's increased. Something to look into.

I researched nip percings and breast feeding and got inconclusive info. Wife has not been pierced and now that she is breast feeding she is glad she did not do. That's something very big for any lady to concidder.

My ex had hers done and she was very sorry she'd had them done.

They took about a year to heal properly and were extremely sore most of the time.
Eventually, the doctor told her she couldn't wear her bars or rings because she had an allergic reaction to them.
She tried the usual titanium ones, pure silver and even gold - all made her nips swell and go septic.
Yet nothing affected her ear pircings at all - not even the cheapo nickel-plated ones.
Go figure.

Personally, I'm not keen on nipple piercings. But each to their own.

ETA: Her nips have lost virtually all of their sensitivity. They used to be very sensitive but not now.
I would also add that she paid a lot of money in a proper piercing establishment to have hers done too!

A How long will it take for my nipples to heal?

8 months to a year some times longer my right took a year and half... if you catch the piercing on something and cause tearing

B Can I still use clamps on a pierced nipple?

For me clamps on the nipples directly became unbearable.

C Do i need to use clamps on a pierced nipple or will weights have the same effect?

Neither, Weights directly on the piercing can cause microtears and possibly promote migration

D Is there a danger of my nipples over stretching and distorting if I use weights?

Yes using weights will most likely cause microtears, and possibly promote migration

E Will you be able to see them through a work shirt?

Depends on how tight your shirt is

F On the whole would you say you feel happier or just the same after you have had them pierced?

I had little to no sensation before hand, now pain is much more intense

Ps oh and one more thing. As I have been into nipple play for years will they still be ok to be clamped? Cheers.

After Healed yes however pain sensations might change

A. I had mine pierced in December last year. I'm still healing. They still get crusty at times. It can take up to a year to completely heal.

B. Sure, you can still use clamps. You will just have to place them behind the piercing or in front depending on where you have them pierced in the nipple.

C. Clamps are a different pain than weights so it just depends on which kind of pain you are wanting to feel. Clamps for me hurt like a motherfucker. They pinch and tighten the nipple. Weights just pull down and if placed on the piercings, be careful because the weights could tear through the skin or break the jewelry. If placed on the clamps well the pain of the clamps becomes even worse, digging into the skin.

D. Depends on your skin, how often used, how much weight, etc....

E. Depends on the material and your bra. If I wear a light shirt with a light bra then yes, you can see my piercings. On those days I usually wear a jacket or sweater on top. After work I don't really care if anyone sees them through my clothing.

F. The same

G. Yes, see above.
