For one thing, I dont know of a state where hunting deer with a dog is permitted, but more to the point.

It is clear from the video this was a premeditated attack on the dog by the deer, not that it surprises me.

Deer attacks are well documented.

You will notice that the wife did nothing to help her husband...

Deers do not like overweight people

They try to rape human women

They dont like skate boarders too much

Just go here.

And of course PETA screams about how cruel it is to hunt, who protects us from them?

Then there are the predatory hamsters.

Punisher, you just scraped the tip of the iceberg.

Jeff,from this article[http://www.northamericanwhitetail.com/2010/09/22/deermanagement_naw_debate_1009/ ]

"Today, 11 states still allow deer hunting with dogs. However, two of the states, California and Hawaii, have no whitetail populations, and state game management officials tightly control the use of dogs to hunt axis, blacktail and mule deer. So the last bastion of dog-hunting for whitetails is found in nine states that were once part of the Old Confederacy: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia. Another former Confederate state, Texas, allowed dog-hunting until 1990, when it was banned due to a flood of complaints from landowners and non-hunters. Incidentally, Texas now has an estimated 4 million whitetails, which is the largest population in any individual state or Canadian province."

And trust me,I know deer aren't always docile creatures. They can and do attack at times..especially bucks during rut.I just thought the reaction of the dog in the video was funny...since the only thing that appeared damaged was his pride.

Jeff, thanks for posting the vids. The first I've seen several times and loved, but a shorter version that did not tell/show who it was that was involved, so that I appreciated. I've shared that video with so many people.

The second, I'll bet you dimes to donuts the gal was menstruating at the time, which was all the lure the young buck needed. The average person who has not worked with animals, i.e., farm or wild, doesn't realize that menstrual blood sends a chemical message to the male of many a species, that they're "in heat," which inspires the animal to attempt to mate that person. Then, of course, some of it's just a territorial issue.

During the years I worked horses at a racetrack, more than once, during my time of the month, I'd have to protect myself from being mounted by a stallion. Horny little buggers.

I've often wondered if some shark attacks were triggered by menstruating women.

Looks like with that skateboarder, it was just a collision. Deer should look both ways before they attempt to cross!

Thanks for the information, I happily stand corrected.
