Recall I mentioned about 3 dozen of us locally work on issues- and try to make a difference. We had a small but successful protest- against Congressman Lou Barletta. It was effective in that he stopped his SUV - and came to talk to us about our views on the NDAA.

Local news covered about 2 minutes of our "protest".

The NDAA means the government can round up, and indefinitely detain Americans with out charges or trial.

Get ready for that knock at the door. Yup, that was a terrorist act there.

I shit you not, by legal definition it was.

I know. But I wont live in fear. More and more people locally are awake. I find that incredibly rewarding. We work on a variety of issues-

I did not mention the public meeting was on private property, and we were banned from there. There was a tall fence and a gate with a guard. We did have one of our guys on the inside in an official capacity- and one of us snuck in- under the pretense of being with the press. lol

Pahunk, that's very true, you shouldn't have to live in fear.
*Our government* should be fearfull of The People!
I don't think (personally) that they'd ever activate that NDAA, there are simply too many heavily armed citizens out here "justa itchin'" for a fight against the "government." The casualty rate would be very high on both sides.
And also there's the very real risk of violence spreading nationwide if they tried that, it could get out of control very quickly.

The NDAA makes me sad
