me too, but unfortunately I am driving an 11 year old car, that currently does not have a working AC!
I carry a cooler with me, with water and plenty of liquids.
When it gets to be too much, I put the ice packs {from my lunch bag} on my chest and neck.
I love those ice packs that come in sheets, I can place them on my back.
Soon as I get home, cold shower, half naked and AC baby.

One little thing that can make a surprising difference in keeping your home a little cooler is using cfl light bulbs, instead of incandescent. Those mini space heaters can easily add a degree or two to the room.

I'm so cool, when I wake up, every morning, I piss ice cubes. If I were any cooler, I'd be legally dead!

Seriously, though. I lucked out with my new place. We're a middle unit so we have "insulation" on both sides. Now, the sun does come in the front windows in the morning and the back windows in the evening but, I have found that running two (relatively small) air conditioners on opposite ends of the house , upstairs and letting the fans circulate the air to the downstairs does the trick.

Peace and comfort,

Michael
