Loved it back in the 70s but I think I grew out of it pretty quick. Mind you I did get to see sid, n the boys, the clash more than once, maybe it has something to do with hearing loss and too many fights.

Not songs, but I really like The Reverend Horton Heat, The Reckless Ones, Tiger Army, Social Distortion, Pennywise...

I'll think of other ones at some point. Might even remember to post them.

I haven't been to a "service" yet, but I see they're playing my town late this summer.

This reminds me that, back before the satellite radio companies merged, XM had a psychobilly hour (half?) during the afternoon rush. Made sitting in traffic much more pleasant, and makes me wish I would've kept notes.

Adding to the list: Madness.

They started off as a jazz band at The Golden Lion, Fulham. Fantastic musicians, but couldn't get gigs playing jazz. Same thing with The Cramps, love The Cramps, turned RnB on it's head!

Anyone else heard of Elvis Hitler? Had a following back in the 80s. Aah, pals of my cradle days [:D]!

For the most part bands don't, we respect people for helping us out [:D].

generally true, though a semi-famous band on lookout! records absconded with a couple of bottles of chopin vodka and a hardcore band from israel stole all our toilet paper once. ah, sweet bird of youth.

Here's another sad story of punk musicians taking stuff off other people. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XIqQEe5VMts (NSFW)
