Hello,

I am new and learning about D/s realtionships. Can you tell me what the different types of training a dom would choose to do are? I did a search and couldn't find this addressed specifically. I read in another post somewhere about training for domestic chores, training to be a sex goddess, etc....I guess I'm most interested in what training a sex goddess means/involves as I get the impression this is the type of training my D means when he talks about my training. (which we have not started yet as we don't live together yet). How do you train someone to be a sex goddess? What can I expect in that regard?

BTW - I think this is a great board. Lots of helpful people and posts. Thanks for taking the time to address my newbie questions.

Well first off, what training a person gets is dependent on not only the relationship and place you want to go, but also the particular style of the people involved.  There are not set and hard ways of things.

Secondly, you really need to talk about this with your own dom, it is very beneficial for you to understand what your training will entail.  No one but him can answer questions and help you set realistic expectations for yourself.  You shouldn't be guessing what he means or where he wants to take you- it should be clearly understood.

As far as turning someone into a sex goddess, my guess is that it would be the same sort of training that a geisha or concubine or sacred whore would have when they apprenticed under a professional.  Training in self-control, attitude, fashion styles, communication, sexual prowess, voice, skill, flexibility and other things.

Training is a relative term. Some specific ways are present for some who like that, but in genereal training is not some standard thing. Training is a term that has many definitions to the people in the life. To some it is formal and consider a very valuable thing. To others, it is a fancy word used for experience people to play with newbies without any long term issues and newbies to feel more comfortable by using the word instead of casual play. None are better than the other. To each their own.

Most of us did not graduate from a course. It just depends on who you submit to play partner or potential long-term and their preferences and ideas. Some like really formal things like learning positions and service situations and others just let it flow totally naturally. I would read up on the Internet and get involved in your local community and decide for yourself what you think is best for you.

Just do not let anyone make you believe there is only one way.

Training is a Master's way of teaching a slave to meet his needs.
