Grisly murders aside... I am the only one who found some of the scenes in this hot as hell?

oh yeah.. some of those amazing meals Dr Lechter comes up with.. I mean, if ya didnt know the ingredient list..

Yes. That guys Mads Mikkleson is fine as all get out. Plus, there's something terribly attractive about a man who can take apart your mind and send you reeling into the oblivion of madness. Twisted, I know. *shrug*

Loving Hannibal tho, I was disapointed in the last episode.
GOry, dispicable crimes and scenes, but Mads Mikkelsen is almost up to par with Anthony Hopkins:0

What do you means grisly murders aside? The entire thing was hot as fucking hell.

But then again, I've had a crush on the Lector character since I was about 10 years old or so.

Must be an English thing

Which means that - a. the Americans will make an inferior version of it

or b. we get to watch the original on BBC America.

It's an American show, green lighted and broadcast on NBC.
And Thomas Harris, the writer who created Lector and the
books about him is an American.

Mads is hot as hell. He's not a better Lector than Antony Hopkins
but it's a different kettle of fish. The rest of the cast is good to.

yep yep yep:)
ALtho.... one quibble I have is that they changed freddy lounds into a woman...altho I like the actress,
Red Dragon, has her as a male. Red dragon was written about the events after Lecter was arrested.
Also a big fan of Lecter since the "beginning"

the "beginning"

"The original was a movie made in 1986 titled "Manhunter," which featured "CSI's" William Petersen as Agent Graham"

I have watched Manhunter soooooo many times.. its one of the very few dvds I was compelled to own.. I must say that I do prefer the William Petersen as Graham more than the Hannibal one tho.. in Manhunter, its Graham that I watch.. in Hannibal its Dr Lechter I watch..

Lechter sounds like he needs his adenoids sorted... have you noticed that?

Point taken. But I can't resist noting that the U.S. version of Queer as Folk was worlds better than the U.K. original.
