You are correct.

I guess I was just surprised at some of vitriol.

Well, on a good day, I don't feel like a bitch. [;)]

C'mere. I can fix that and I promise it will be a damn good day.

(Yeah, like nobody saw that coming. [:D])

The actual on topic stuff.........

Have a spin around Humor and Games to let folks get a chance to know you.

Remember that the golden rule of the internet applies. If you only make comments on the net that you would say in person, you'll be golden.

Always keep in mind that, no matter how funny something sounded in your head, not everybody is going to get the joke when it's typed out in text.

In the unmoderated thread I was surprised by some of the level headed people that were calling others names...

That thread is a good example of "Be careful of what you wish for". There are people in that thread that have shown themselves to be someone other than who I thought they were and I'm disappointed in them.

I agree with you totally, I must admit, had the moderators not shut down the thread I might have stuck my oar in, I'm glad I didn't. Even the nicest people can lose their rag. Starting a slanging match with a Troll is a bit like kicking s**t, a bit will always get stuck to your shoe.

Besides, it was their thread, it was down to us whether we interacted with them or not, & I did have a chortle.
