Why are there so many Financial Doms out there? I only wanna talk/online sex chat with a regular Female Dom, and I am tired of Female Doms requesting guys to pay fees or get gifts to prove themselves. As a Dom myself I'd never make my sub buy me a gift or pay me to be dominated :/

1) Men far outnumber women, so getting a woman to pay you when so many will do it for free would be unlikely, even if you were to demand it.

2) Money is power. It's a male dominated world and men tend to control the money. Therefore, by giving up that money, they are giving up power.

3) Why do you care about the dynamics engaged in by others? By your own admission, you haven't even figured out your own dynamic yet.

Your kink is not better than someone else's kink. You're not even a Dom yet, so I would also suggest that you sit back and learn before throwing rocks at someone else.

There are times I would agree with you, about Financial Dommes ... BUT >> in your case, I read your profile.

That alone tells me WHY Dommes want to charge money. [:D] [:D] [:D]


Hate to say it this way ... BUT ... what can you offer a Domme?

Jacobo, there's a reason I advised you to seek out Colorado Springs groups instead of frittering away your time online. I know of a couple of local Dommes, but they go to events rather than spend time online.

There's your trouble, Jac. Lifestyle dommes are in high demand in the real world. If we want the whole enchilada it is offline, everywhere we go, laid out at our feet, as many or as few as we want. And it usually comes with dinner, car wash, and a 2 hour foot massage.

Take DS up on his offer. It's the only way you'll actually get somewhere in the flesh, so to speak.

Put another way, think of it like this......

Are you a member of any other kinds of sites? How about ones like yahoo or AOL? On any given day, how many of your fellow yahoo users care about what turns you on and want to chat with you about it? This is really no different. Just because the women on this site happen to be kinky doesn't mean they care about your kinks or want to select you out of the other thousand upon thousands of male members of the site to discuss what turns you on. They have no reason or incentive to spend their time on that.

Money is an equalizer for some. They get something beneficial and you get what you want and have somebody who talk to you about sex and/or kink. Without that incentive, most women who aren't associated with you in some way are going to want to spend the time doing that.

I realize both that it can be slim pickings and that there are professionals here, but if I want to pay someone merely to acknowledge my existence, I can just find a local brothel.

It doesn't really work the same for the sexes when it comes to sexual attention, which is what you are looking for. Women aren't generally as interested in casual encounters of whatever variety, men are. Therefore if you want attention and time from women you need to give them something they ARE interested in - either plan on investing time and effort into a woman to get your rocks off, or give them money. There simply aren't women lurking about that are waiting, like you, to get off with someone else's help. Do you generally run across women in person whose purpose in life is to take strangers to bed? Well, it doesn't really happen online either. I'm sure there's the rare encounter where two people meet for a NSA one off kind of thing...but generally in real life too, in order to get regular sexual attention you need to build a relationship of some sort.

As far as your question about why there are so many financial Dommes around...think about it. They exist because there are a ton of horny men out there giving them money to make their penises happy. It's a market that is driven by the men. If you don't agree with the amount of women out there asking for money, then take it up with the men who are giving them money and thereby perpetuating the cycle.

You really need to educate yourself a bit more, your comment on not 'making your sub (which you don't have)' buy you a gift or pay you is laughable, there are far too many men on this site for that to work. 'Your sub' would just move onto someone else. Besides all that, I'm not sure why you are referring to yourself as a Dom on this thread, when you've marked yourself as a switch on your profile, and are actively looking for a Domme...very confusing.

Financial Domination is a kink practiced by a great many. I don't think it matters much to the participants if you find it cynical or not - if you don't like it, then chose something else for yourself. Some men want exactly that cynical outlook, that is precisely what they are seeking, they're not looking for fluffy emotional encounters. I'd suggest you stop projecting what is meaningful to you onto others, seems very judgmental.

It's like many activities in the world, some like it and some don't. I find certain kinks boring, disgusting, or incomprehensible and no one really cares -they carry on doing what floats their boat.

Well, what do you want? I looked at your profile and it says how you want to play and be treated. Nowhere does it describe what you bring to the table in terms of a relationship. It doesn't say what your life experience has been, what conversation topics you like, etc. Your profile say you want lots of play scenes.

If that's all you want and you're not up to a relationship, then why should you not pay?

Frankly, what other people do is their business. If other people want to send Amazon gift cards just to initiate contact, more power to them. I just don't see the point at all. How dare anyone say as such in a public forum, right?

I think I would be wise to stay off these forums. I spent a little time perusing them this morning and the people I've seen appear remarkably acerbic even for the internet. Well, minus the terrible grammar and constant homosexual references. That's a plus I suppose. Good day.
