Status: offline 		Am curious? :-) It's a position I personally like and also find strangely comfortable. I'd love to try longer times tied up but was wondering how safe a position it is in reality. Has anyone here been in this position for a long time and been fine? Has anyone here come into difficulty through being restrained in this position?

For me, the longest I have been in the hogtie position is about an hour, and I wasn't sore in the slightest afterwards though should add that padded wrist cuffs were used.

3 weeks, but now I have to type with a pencil in my teeth, poking the keys one by one, since they had to amputate my limbs.

Status: offline 		Ya know, growing up in NYC, we had our share of people who, when presented with new information would answer: "No shit?"

When I was in Georgia, there was a guy whose favorite expression in such cases was: "Well, I'll be horse whipped and hog tied!" I always wondered if he realized just what that might do to a human body.

Strange.

I don't think I have ever or would ever tie someone for more than about (maybe) 20 minutes. Dog cages are another matter, all-together.

Status: offline 		Actually, I always thought it was one of those "quaint" Southern (USA) expressions; like: "We get along like two ticks on a hound dog" and things of that nature. I definitely don't thyink the guy had even an inkling about kink.

Status: offline 		20 minutes. But he uses rope. He doesn't like cuffs.
And as I'm getting older, I find this a much harder position to do anymore without huge amounts of bad pain.

However, being female, he tends to do breast bondage to me at the same time. I can't lie on my front because the bound breasts hurt a lot. I can't lie on my back because then I'm on my hands with my body weight pressing into my hands.

I imagine, being male, and not having the breast bondage allows you the extended time period lying on your front.

I honestly have no clue how long it was for me the time he put me in a hogtie. I kinda was off in a really cool endorphin-fueled head rush, so time was not something I paid attention to. The padded ankle restraints and suspension style wrist restraints helped. The elbow tie left marks, but I bruise easy...so that was no surprise

Status: offline 		yes, the padded ones are defo more comfy than rope. did the elbow ties hurt when they were on? I like to feel the restraint but don't like to be hurt by them, well, not just in the process of wearing them lol

Status: offline 		Hmm... 10 mins. I find bondage ok if there is torture involved, otherwise it bores me. So, I escape. It takes me longer to get out of something like a hogtie because it limits my movements.

Status: offline 		I think the longest I've been hogtied was about 15-20 minutes. It's been awhile but I enjoyed it....it made me feel peaceful.

On the other hand the ex once tied my arms behind my back, rather tightly, for over an hour, I'd say. I know it was at least 45 minutes but I'm thinking it was a lot longer than that (or so it felt). It was horribly uncomfortable, and I got very squirmish (I was kneeling). He'd snap at me to stop squirming, and I'd try to stop but damn if something didn't itch or my arms didn't feel like they were ripping out of their sockets.

When he finally untied me I was in too much pain to even lift my arms shoulder height, for a couple of hours. Thankfully I don't have to type with a pencil in my teeth.
