ORIGINAL: Calandra I discovered years ago that when I am in my submissive headspace (not often anymore, believe me) if I feel the need to stand my ground with a Dominant (anyone really), if I don't take the time to find a tactful way to approach it, it interferes with my headspace. My submission works best for me when I am able to focus and use self-controll in my dealings with others. I'm not sure if that makes sense to anyone... ~sigh~ Any thoughts? Yes, you make sense, Calandra. While everyone best collect their thoughts before speaking, focus, use self control - I am learning that in a submissive headspace, my own emotions can be off keel blocking the flow, causing confusion to both parties. I'll act goofy. Go against my instincts, even. Why? Fear of the unknown? Distrusting one's own judgement, heart. Realizing. Let go and have faith, focus, open energy. I am learning and think it is great people share real insight here in the madness. Take care... [;)]
