I don't know how to break this to you, but the DEA, the state and local police, etc. have been stealing your shit for decades, through drug law confiscation, thanks to Reagan's thugs, and the financial industry just recently stole ~ 5 million houses and over 8.5 million jobs from people, and have stolen the life savings and pensions from millions of others.
While you've had your nose buried in the BS and incessant inanity of the gold sellers for who knows how long, some few of the rest of us have learned that; the corporations essentially run the government, via ALEC, the lobbyists, the mega-conglomerate media, and having their henchmen and mandarins at pertinent positions in every regulatory agency and cabinet department from the 1981 onwards.
Thanks to Reagan and every president and congress from that point on, it is impossible to separate the 'Public' and 'Private' anymore.
If you don't like how things are going, shooting the CEOs would get much faster and certainly more amenable results to society than shooting congressmen. However much the mainstream press and the nut-case gold sellers both fervently try to convince us otherwise.
It has not escaped notice here that the gold sellers, the "mainstream" media, and the nutjob AM radio hosts seem to be so far apart on some issues, but seem to converge on the oddest points, at the oddest times.
