for me it's no contest...miami vice. all cops are bastards, but it would be sweet as shit to drive around in a ferrari all decked out in pastels and throwing shots whenever you feel like it.

Joe Friday. He took no shit and gave none back. Just the facts, and get it over with.

The words "Joe Friday" and "adorable" not only don't belong in the same sentence, they don't belong on the same planet. Joe Friday's voice alone scared the Soviets. Joe Friday's hair could cut steel. Joe Friday was the Chuck Norris of his day. And I don't ever recall him having to pull the trigger on that little snubbie he carried, nor did I ever see anything approximating a car chase once. All Joe Friday had to to bust someone was to touch them on the shoulder and they gave up. Joe Friday. Yeahhhh.

I'm torn between SVU in the Christopher Meloni era and Hill Street Blues during the Jimmy Smitts era.

Lt. Henry Goldblume. The reason? Simple. He was a cop with a beating heart.

Peace,

With my CDO issues, I thought about that but, the "ex" part stopped me, too.

(Didn't he get his badge back, right before they ended the show?)

Good luck,

Felix Unger

I did kind of like him too. Another TV cop I sort of wouldn't mind being is Jethro Gibbs (NCIS). He's a Joe Friday kinda guy...

Yeah I think he did.....now....I am not that much CDO (would be if I wouldnt be too lazy when I am honest....my partner would be happy I would be more OCD) but hey, 1999 I was chucked out by the police as their typist.....just wasnt submissive enough on those days ... lol... so that's a similarity with him....and I also have at times very weird combinations of things or topics going on....
