and the mostly rightwing-oriented people were for it and are expanding it.

But nobody of a liberal bent is for it now, not even 'seem' except to someone snorkling thru rightwing horseshit.

I am bent liberal but not when the left is wallowing in outrage-porn as they are doing now over the NSA. They never knew internet and phone connection data were collected and stored somewhere? Really? These are the same folks who were outraged over failure to connect the dots when the twin towers went down in '01. They can't have it both ways.

The US IC / DOD with full sponsorship as demonstrable by Prism, Boundless Informant, Fisa 702, Pat Act 215a, NSLs and other things is demonstrable proof they are gearing for war with people in the USA. Just take a look at the TIDE list, this is the "list of list" - keep in mind this is the only one we know of. There are 875k names on that list.

Since the war in Iraq "ended" - LOL we began massive buildups with in the Asian Pacific. The USG/WH is still continuing to weaponize Qatar, Oman, KSA, Bahrain and other ME regions. But this seems pretty much contained and the ability to maintain chaos and disruption with under 50k troops seems very viable - winning was never an objective.

If you look at the exercises the Navy/5th Fleet or others are doing.. The next big war seems to be Asia..... There is a lot at risk there "silk roads", IPI, TAPI and other pipelines with close ties to Asia. It also fits the bill with the snowden catalyst. For almost a decade the US ICs have been fear mongering and demonizing China for cyberwar/cyber espionage. Yet, it is clear it is us doing the hacking & war. Spooky shit.....
