Hi all,

It's been ages since I've posted here so forgive me popping up from out of the blue, but I wanted to drop in to share our experience and give hope to those still searching on these boards. I met the love of my life, my beautiful boy, right here in 2006. We've been together for years now and recently got married.

From the first meeting, we just knew it was so right, and we've spent the most happy, delightful, enchanting six years together. Things aren't always as frantic and heated as they were in those initial heady 12 months, but they're better, deeper, more powerful and intimate with every passing year. He still loves bondage, and I still love my whip. Although he's a little more cheeky than he was at the outset (dammit, where's my whip?), he still asks for permission to use the bathroom with a sheepish, submissive expression, I still smack his adorable bottom nearly every time he walks past me, and he most definitely knows better than to have an orgasm without my permission....;-)

For those of you still searching, don't lose hope. Lots of genuine, lovely people who will share and enjoy your interests hover around these boards. If you're a genuine person who is kind and honest, good things will come your way.

I'm so glad to hear how happy you all are and thank you for sharing and wanting to encourage some of us.

I hope you both will be as blessed fifty years from now as you are today!

Meeting mine off site, we are newer to one another, but this is looking very, very good. I had to flirt with some situations that weren't so wonderful in the end, but this one... he has real potential.

After all these years... whoa.

People need to hear these success stories about CM and online in general ;)

I am in the process (just need to work out a few more "kinks") of booking my second flight to montreal to meet a sub that I met through CM...some people may remember the WOW guild I put together here several years ago. Well I ended up hooking up with a sub through that and we have met in person and still talk DAILY (YES! Every day). So for people who say it won't work. Yes, we met through CM. Yes, I pursued HIM (like a maniac, ask him, I think I terrified him a few times). Yes, I paid for ALL the toys and the plane tickets to meet him. Although he did buy the deserts and brought them to my hotel.

Also I met my husband in the CHATROOM on my web site, the clunky, awful, java chat room. The same one I use today. The same one people come into and say "May I kneel Mistress Akasha," and I say "No need to kiss my ass unless I am sitting on your face." He sat there like everyone else and instead of being an ass kisser he treated me like a normal human being and I was so fascinated. We talked in chat for ten minutes. I said "I want to call you on the phone." He did not trust me so he ran to a phone booth in canadian winter. Two years we talked on the phone. We met in person in March, engaged in May, married in June.

All the online skeptics said my marriage would not last and we've been married 12 years, and yes it's an open relationship (and they said that wouldn't last either, it's like the male subs are so cynical and jealous they didn't want it to work). Oh and my sub in montreal? He's like best friends with my husband. Funny how that works.

Many Many Happy years .. I too met my partner in crime in a bdsm Chatroom.. Just over 14 yrs ago... so all things are possible in time...

Hello there dear OP! Thank you for posting your lovely motivational story with such marvelous intent!

I'm going to support your story with mine. I've also met the perfect partner for my needs and we keep evolving and becoming closer and discovering more of who we truly are and things we love by each other's side with each passing day. I can't really say how grateful I am to have met him, pursued and discovered my Dominant side by him and aided and stimulated his discovery and exteriorization of his own submissive side.

I guess we're one of those rare couples that brought their D/s in their 'nilla life in an already existent relationship after meeting online, nearly about a year and a half ago. I'm looking forward to many more years by his side to come and would not change him, replace him or give him up for the world. :)
