Ever wanted to lose 10 pounds and thought: "Hey, this would be soooo much easier if a hot bro was insulting me every time I did something unhealthy"? Well luckily, a new Japanese app will provide this super-helpful service right on your mobile device!

The app, which will be released this month, is based on of a weight loss app for men called Nenshou! In the original version, pretty anime ladies support users as they try to lose weight, offering words of encouragement and compliments.

But Nenshou! For Girls takes a different approach. According to Cara Clegg at RocketNews24, the female version of the app, which focuses on ab workouts and arm toning, opts for insults over compliments:

In “Nenshou! For Girls” three gorgeous guys will give you the old carrot-and-stick treatment to encourage you on your weight loss journey. While you exercise, you can also enjoy a burgeoning relationship with one of the cast of ikemen (hot guys) who has been so romantically insulting you.

Because nothing makes you want to stick to a healthy diet and exercise regimen more than being berated by a cartoon man you're "dating," right? The whole premise of the app is suspect considering that research has shown that fat-shaming is a totally ineffective weight loss "tool" and can actually make people gain weight. "I don't know, the world is so wack," wrote Jezebel's Laura Beck in reaction to Nenshou! For Girls. We concur.

Status: offline 		So who is the misogynist who thought this up? Because if one offering positive reinforcement had already proved successful, the only reasons to do this is that either the inventor has a thing for fat girls or he hates women.
Plus neither app allows for the possibility of homosexuality nor for positive reinforcement from someone who is a friend.

They should have made it so you could customize who you pick and when each responds.

or maybe there should be a "Hey Baldie" app for guys too!.. Shame them into getting hair implants..

Status: offline 		The part I like is the way the aggressive/guttural tone make Japanese sound a lot like ... the head, at two on a Saturday morning, with two or three woefully pre-hangovered young Sailors wrestling with their consciences.

Note : if you are a Sailor, you have to call a restroom 'the head'. It's tradition.

Status: offline 		Thats the thing. This was designed after they made a fat dude app. The difference is the fat dude app has cute asian hotties oooo'ing, ahhh'ing, and generally giving them positive feedback whether or not they lose weight.

baldness is usually what guys are most "sensitive" about, especially when they get older..

but honestly, if i were a balding guy.. dam right I would get hair implants!!! btw, some women lose their hair also, just not as many.. imo, why not? (assuming you can afford the cost)..

Hey now! Let's have none of that!

The app is stupid. Eat healthy 90 percent of the time, lift heavy weights, move around each day, and throw the fucking scale in the garbage. It's fairly simple, but it's not easy.
