pahunkboy -> How would you tattoo a receding hairline? (8/5/2013 8:12:44 AM)

I am considering tattooing my head so the receeding hairline is not so noticable. Thus far I have done nothing as I think it will look worse.

My questions are:

1. would you tattoo anything so it to look like you age less, if so what.

2. just wondering if a tatt on receeding hairline would be practical- or just end up being a mistake.

Hunky, I have news about receding hairlines. They're going to keep receding.
My personal opinion is that it would look ridiculous and then you would have to keep going back as the hairline recedes more.

Keep your hair short and OWN the look.
Don't worry about it. Getting older sucks but it beats the living hell out of the alternative.
Also, wear a hat in the sun because a sunburned scalp hurts like hell and it's really gross when it peels.

My serious answer - I agree with Hilly. I love guys who take off all the hair. I find bald heads incredibly sexy. I hate comb-overs and hair plugs and all that silliness - own that sexxaaaayy shiny bonce! [:D]

The silly answer - you could tattoo it with hundreds and hundreds of tiny rabbits. From a distance they would look like hares.....badaBOOOM!!

I don't know what the laws are regarding tattoos in PA, but in most places, they don't permit tattooing above the neck and below the wrists. Scalp tats are also bloody messes, from what I've heard, and a lot of artists who normally would do 'risky' jobs won't touch them
Another important point: it would look absolutely awful. Like Hillwilliam said, accept it, and own the look. Shave the rest off, proclaim it. Both of my bosses have MPB, and rather than hair plugs, they shave and wax their noggins. Cheaper and easier.

Skip the ink.
Roll with it son-remember,getting old is a victory...and a privilege.

It sure as fuck kicks the shit outta the alternative

~FRing it~

I honestly think it would make your situation worse, rather than better. As Hilly was saying, that hairline is going to keep receding no matter what you do. It's both age and genetics. Im thinking that a tattooed head in the place where hair used to be is going to end up looking pretty silly.

I agree with myotherself, bald heads are sexy as hell

Tattoo a combover on it....you will be ready for the ages.

I will not have any tattoos. I wasn't born with any, I will not die with any.

Shave it off!

Embrace the bald. I did and I have never, ever regretted it. Not only have I earned every grey hair on my head, I earned every one that has fallen out. Bald works well for me and it beats a humiliating comb-over any day.

As far as a tattoo goes, you could have Custer's Last Stand tattooed on your forehead. Your hair would be retreating from the Indians.

Who doesn't permit it?

Oh, I'm sure it would look great on him. I hope he posts pics after it's done [:D]

I won the hair war in my family. Even if it is thinning. I might have some idea what you are talking bout. But there is something you aren't looking at.

Very few people actually care about your hair. And very few fail to note when someone humiliates himself. If what you are trying to do is make your thinning hair LESS noticeable...

You're right, I was wrong. Hell, in PA there appears to be no regulations at all, save no underage and cleanliness/health restrictions. It still is a dumb idea. A tattooed hairline would be instantly apparent.

Thejaybird -> RE: How would you tattoo a receding hairline? (8/5/2013 11:50:29 AM)

Just shave it off. A lot less regret will happen, especially financially.

theshytype -> RE: How would you tattoo a receding hairline? (8/5/2013 12:57:12 PM)

Please don't do it!
I've never heard of such a thing but would imagine it to be very noticeable. Plus, as mentioned before me, your hairline will most likely continue to recede.

Me, I'd much prefer a bald man over someone who has taken noticeable steps to hide it and I'm sure I'm not alone.
I also don't understand men who dye their hair. Gray hair in men looks incredibly sexy to me.

I have seen head tats that are supposed to look like hair and it doesn't. From what you have described, I would think all it would do is draw attention to it.

Hair transplanting is so cheap and successful nowadays, do that first!

absolutchocolat -> RE: How would you tattoo a receding hairline? (8/5/2013 1:46:08 PM)

FR

My Mister has a bald head, and it's hot. I like rubbing the smooth surface! There's something sexy about seeing someone embrace what nature gives them instead of trying to hold on to some semblance of youth.
