I usually tell them it depends on my mood. I get some of them too and try to be patient as know some are genuine and are shy of taking that first step to getting off the computer (I'm not having a go at people who enjoy online relationships here, each to their own, I am talking of those who profess to want real life but who balk at ever meeting people) my patience isn't endless tho' lol I'm not sure what the timewasters get from it but I suppose to some any attention, even negative attention, is better than none so if I feel, after time, that they fall into this category I just ignore them. M, It might interest you to know that I heard on the radio coming home somebody is doing a documentary on Rick James..........due in the fall I think... Wash, dry and fold my laundry and clean the kitchen without making a mistake or leaving single speck of nasty stuff on the dishes (or putting them up wet), while paying sufficient attention to my 3. 5 hour ramble on the latest philsophical and theoposophical direction the book I'm writing is taking -- including being capable of contributing relevant commentary and intelligent remarks regarding the direction that my mind is taking the concepts my co-author and I are digging through... ... then I'd sic SR loose on him (I get home first on Fridays). ZWD

The response of a few of the servants who have worked with us has been "Oh NOOOO.. not another dissertation!!!!".... so I value those who don't roll their eyes every time I start sharing aloud on the latest direction my books or doctoral work are taking!
