Status: offline 		Like the topic states, I'm looking for advice as to what to use as a profile picture.

The current picture for my profile is a placeholder. I'm a fairly private person with my kink and not sure how I want to proceed with a profile picture. I was wondering what ideas and preferences are out there. I'd rather not have a clear picture of my face on CM, and might not be clever enough to come up with an amazing solution on my own. So... I thought I might see what other people would suggest and see if that gives me some inspiration.

So any ideas on a discreet yet useful profile picture?

Status: offline 		I and others use avatars for the same reason, to be discrete. Other options might include a photo from the back or other artistic photo that hides your face and any unique body art that might indicate who you are. An introduction with a dick pic might be considered in bad taste by many Dominas. There are many threads on this topic (dick pics as avatars) you can look at what was previously written on that topic, if interested. I don't want to side track your query about options for profile pictures by delving off on that tangent. I think that there are some good options out there for those concerned about maintaining privacy.

Status: offline 		I have only two recommendations. Do not use pictures of your pecker, as women here tend to think (correctly) that men you use them are peckerheads. And do not use stolen porno pictures, to show what you like.

Status: offline 		There are probably thousands of ways to post a picture of yourself that doesn't show your face. If you disguise it at least partially, nobody in your vanilla will jump at you and yell "A-ha! I knew it!!" Besides, your profile says you live in New York. It's a big state, with tons of people running around. Unless you have some incredibly unique features (third arm?), you can just put on a mask and snap a picture.

Take a look at my profile - I've got 6 pictures of myself, and none of them would tip anybody off as to my true identity. You may use them for inspiration at your convenience.

As an example of taking what somebody said completely out of context so as to make it appear that he said exactly the opposite of what he actually did say, this is a very poor and lazy effort.

Don't use a cock pic. Ever. Most women have no desire to see your manjunk unless they're actually planning to play with it. So unless she asks for it, just keep it put away.

Do use a creative/artistic body shot with your head turned away or your back to the camera. I've also seen (and liked) action pics where the subject is doing something like 4-wheeling or hiking or something from a distance so you can't really make out his features but he's doing *something* of interest in the pic itself. If you have any meaningful tattoos, you could do a nice close up of that. Just you know ... No cockshots pls and no stolen porn.
