The puppy Loki (Lizard has a thing for Norse mythology) looks like a mix of chihuahua and german shepard. Her mom, Little Bit, is a terrier mix and her dad is a purebreed Chihuahua. Loki has her mom's coloring but her dad's size, if not smaller.
Lizard rescued another dog, puppy really, and named her Sif. Loki terrorizes Sif and Sif is 3 times bigger than Loki is.
Loki is still nursing but she does eat soft foods (Ceasar's) and right now, Little Bit is trying to walk around, but Loki is hanging on to a teat, nursing. Soon, Bo and Lizard are going to have to take Loki in for her shots. If I could, I would sneak her on the bus and take her home with me.
I need to research how to get Little Bit's milk to dry up. When it was me, it was no problem, but with dogs...totally new ball game.
