Hi all, my name is Melanie and I am a new submissive in the D.C. area. Any advice on how to meet a suitable Dom in the area? Definition of suitable = single, handsome, intelligent, sane, and strong.

Your intro is very close to an ad, maybe take some time to read the TOS for this side of the site...now with that being said. Welcome to the forums where some good discussions take place and what Gary said. There are a few that know the DC area and are from there hopefully one of them will be along to tell you about the munches there and how to find out about them. To think of it, usually TieMeInKnottss has that info and she is from that area. Hopefully she will be by soon to say hi. In the mean time hopefully you will join in on some discussions and have some fun here.

Try Black Rose which is a gateway group that holds munches, educational sessions and special interest groups-all in person. Check out "The Crucible" in NE. Check Fetlife for events...there is at least one every day between MD/DC/NOVA... If you are looking online...fill out your profile and post a vanilla pic. Someone single, sane, handsome, intelligent, strong...will be in high demand and they are looking for someone of the same caliber.. In this town, that means a couple of advanced degrees, a fast track career, a gym-toned body that also strives to climb Mt Everest, complete a triathlon and jump out of a plane...
