What? The "slavetraders" are scammers? No! Say it ain't so, Joe. Say it ain't so.

I'm sorry, I just can't buy into this claim. Next thing you you know, you'll be telling me that the love of my life who I just sent $5,000 to pay for her relocation isn't going to show up for our first meeting.

mnottertail -> RE: slave trading 101 (8/15/2013 2:28:15 PM)

But they aint really traders, they want money.

kiwisub12 -> RE: slave trading 101 (8/15/2013 2:33:05 PM)

Hey! I have a slave on lay-away - so they can't be fakes!

Well, I actually told you that I needed $7,000 more because I am stuck in Zimbabwe. Please send me another money order.

By now, the OP, if he's still bothering to follow this thread, is either thoroughly confused or purple with rage that this thread didn't follow the trajectory he was hoping for.

Yes, but you specified Zimbabwean Dollars. Realizing that $19.34 US wouldn't cover your expenses, just to prove that I am a TRUE MASTER and that I will love her and train her in the One True Way, I upped the amount to $1,339,500,000 Zimbabwe. So, to paraphrase Miles Gloriosus,

Send me my bride!

MasterC, purple with rage does it for me [:)].

Neither. Was just trying to help others. If others feel the need to attack me for doing so, that is their issue. So, this may not be the place to call people out. Just trying to help others. Sorry about it. Either way, I am neither confused, nor in rage. Everyone has their reasons for the things they say. Not my place to judge.

MasterCaneman -> RE: slave trading 101 (8/18/2013 5:38:10 PM)

It's not that, it's just that this really isn't the place to call people out, even if they are devious. You can discuss it without naming someone, allude to "someone" doing something left of center, but that's about it. And most of the people here can see through those scams a mile away.

The solution is brutally simple: report as spam and delete.

There's probably a thousand threads like yours in the archives dealing with this. You mean well, but there's nothing that can be done from here other that comment on your thread.

twolfhound -> RE: slave trading 101 (8/18/2013 5:47:45 PM)

I only mentioned it here for there was one other addressing it. I didn't feel I should've added to that, as it was a bit older. But, I do apologize for the forum faux pas. Not everyone is as experienced as the critics on this forum, but I certainly understand the point of those that have offered their... Opinions. I see too much of this kind of thing happen, and not just on this site.

I hope those on the forum can forgive this intrusion.

littlewonder -> RE: slave trading 101 (8/18/2013 10:20:09 PM)

Imo, if you fall for such scams or ANY scams online, you should not be on a computer. Please turn it off and crawl back under your rock for another 20 years.

jlf1961 -> RE: slave trading 101 (8/18/2013 10:47:16 PM)

When I get emails with an african country listed, boyfriend in jail, money needed for plane ticket and/or hotel bill, I respond with I will be glad to help, however I need a waiver signed to allow me to sell any organs that the sub has a pair of to recoup my expenditure.

As for the "my former master wants $x to transfer ownership, I request a $20,000 deposit in an escrow account, payable to me if the slave isnt as trained as well claims made.

Strangely enough, I usually never receive a followup message. Dont know why.
