AAkasha -> Masochists: Any erotic satisfaction in painful deep tissue massage? (8/17/2013 5:37:47 PM)

And no, I am not talking about "happy endings." I am talking about professional massage done in a professional environment. Perhaps the masseuse (pick your gender based on the one you happened to be oriented toward as your preference) and your preferred attitude (maybe you like it when they are gentle with their demeanor but still dig in "hard," or maybe they really push you and say "You can take it! Come on! Don't wimp out on me!") but the pain is real.

Is any of this erotic to you - either during the act -- or, maybe just later, when you go back and reflect upon it? You may conduct yourself 100% appropriately as a client, but the fact is that someone attractive is hurting your body with their hands (despite it being for your good) and perhaps talking to you in a manner that can be perceived, in your mind, to be suggestive. How you process it - even later, can be manufactured into fantasy. They may have no idea - or care - that you interpret it in your own way later. Hell, they are getting paid to fix your body up and send you on your way.

Just curious.

I am not a masochist and I don't like pain...but I do like deep tissue massage because it loosens up my muscles which are always tense from stress and working on a computer 24/7. But it doesn't get me wet either though. It just relaxes me.

I'm mildly masochistic but only get aroused if the pain is coming from my partner.

I love painful deep tissue massages but those give me relief from the tightness in my muscles. They are not sexual to me in any way.

I'm not a hardcore masochist and I only get erotic arousal
from pain with my partner. I've also never been aroused by
a massage from anyone but a lover. I regularly get massages
from female massage therapists. They're relaxing and calming

A few years I did go to a male Rolfer because he was the only
certified Rolfer in my area. But there wasn't anything erotic
about it. For one thing his wife was always there and my then
boyfriend was usually there. Rolfing is very intense and can
be quite painful and open up a lot of emotional floodgates.
I cried during several of the sessions.

I was aware that he was an attractive man and it was an
intimate experience in many ways even with our significant
others close by. But not an erotic one.

I also studied massage and if anyone( other than a partner)
was ever aroused when I was massaging them I wasn't aware of it.
Of course, the massages I give my partner are a little different
than I would give anyone else.

None. I actually hate being massaged, and even more hate firm massage. I'm a very relaxed, non-tense person and when somebody is grinding away at a perfectly relaxed muscle or (more commonly) a bone, I just hate it. It's not painful in a sexy way, it's just annoying.

Love giving, hate receiving!

Yes! I'm always wet after a good deep tissue massage. I tell them I want it hard enough that I'm a little sore the next day and that instruction delivers the right amount of pressure. I like to have to "breathe into it" from time to time to be able to process that amount of pressure.

I used to have a massage guy who came to my house and I would give myself an orgasm after he left. If I have to drive home it kinda breaks the mood.
