Perfect for a half gallon batch or so.

But if wanting bulk one would need something like a DeLaval Cream Separator.

BTW, coconut oil makes for some of the best popcorn in the world.

Why would I, a person allergic to coconut, want to make coconut oil?

How about something useful, like ways to build a moonshine still that is impossible to detect by revenuers.

Admins, please note, should such information become available, I will be happy to place 10 quarts of my Great uncle Roosevelt's recipe on your back door step by the dark of the moon. That way the collarme admins will be able to practice plausible deniability.

Please understand, Great Uncle Roosevelt preferred to age his best in actual casks before putting it in quart jars for at least a year. Cousin Roosevelt V has assured me that he still has some of Great Uncles stock put up back in the forties, still in oak casks.

What you need is a "dish still" which is made for use on the stove top made from nesting stainless steel bowls.

Great for making small batches of distilled items.

Now current tech for making "bourbon" is to use billets of charred oak into a glass carboy instead of oak barrels for small batch aging. Personally, I'll stick with poteen.

Have to admit, I bought a kilo and a half of the wonderful stuff, a couple of months ago, and have been using it for ooodles of things, and its freakin aweseome,
Im not sure I have the patience to do it myself, but we shall see, Ive bookmarked for later use:)

I haven't the strength or wherewithal to do it, but never knew how it came about, so thought it interesting. Any yes, Lucy, the stuff is super for so many thing. I love using it on my hair and skin.
