Hello,

My name is Tony, and I am a disabled non profit webmaster & freeware programmer. I came here mainly to find my life partner as well as to hopefully make some new friends from all over the world. I speak English as my native tongue, and a little bit of Japanese. I very much enjoy swimming, walking, taking pictures mostly of wildlife & nature, watching movies on Crackle & NetFlix, Playing games on PC & XBox 360, and Body boarding. (I haven't body boarded in a long time as I did this primary when I lived in Hawaii back in the 90s.)

Hope everyone has a great week!

Welcome, Tony! Hope you find what you seek, and hope to see you around the boards!

Thank you, and you as well. I found your profile interesting. You read cards, can you do that online? I have a friend when I lived in Hawaii who use to do that for me. Never ask me for money just offered & I was always surprised with what he came up with a lot of which played out in real life & sort of freaked me out. Its like zodiacs not sure if I really believe in them but its funny how well they describe me. I am a cancer / rabbit the sign of love, yet I get my heart broken so much lol. As for something in return if you ever need help with a web site or what ever I would be happy to help the best I can as I am a disabled non profit webmaster & freeware programmer. Haven't made to many programs in the past few years but I have had a few that were quite popular if you do a search for "TonyFordz Basic Hiragana" on Google even though you cant find it to download anymore as I intended on redoing it but never got around to it you can still find quite a few links about it. It got more then 200K downloads the first 6 months I had submitted it on Download.com AKA cNet. Basically it was a program that helped people who wanted to learn the basic Hiragana alphabet which is one of three alphabets used by Japanese. All you had to do was click on the characters to get their sounds, and of course it was 100% free & stand alone (Nothing to install). Perhaps some day I will remake it & put it back up on cNet & maybe my home page. In exchange for a reading once in a while I would be happy to host some forums or a site for you which your welcome to get your own domain name or I can make a sub for you so long as the site isn't adult based, and doesn't contain anything illegal, discriminating, or offensive. I have to keep my web host happy, and I try not to break the rules. They use to allow adult content but 1 idiot will kill it for everyone. I have been with my host now for a little over 10 years so I want to make damn sure I don't allow the wrong people free sites or forums to make my host happy.

---

Thanks again to everyone for the warm welcome & have a great week!

Hey there Tony,

I can indeed do cards online (no charge), but I recommend contacting a member here who very generously did a phenomenal reading for me since it was difficult to remain objective. He was very thorough and went well beyond the initial question in his reading. Let me find that thread and I'll post again with the link. As you will see, we have several readers among our tribe!

Wow, what an interesting program (your Japanese language site). That's a really great service to provide. I think you'll make lots of friends here!

Alright cool I will wait for the reply of this here & check back later, but I wouldn't mind a less reading if you wanna give it a go. No questions really, just curious as to what you would get from me. Hopefully nothing like "Your dick is going to rot off, your hair is all going to fall out 'Oh wait I welcome that I get sick of shaving that shit...', "Your going to meet a tall dark stranger" 'guess this just depends, am I going to get fucked up, beaten, raped, molested... Oh wait I may welcome this too if its a woman.', "You are going to get thrown from your bike as your rolling down a big hill with no breaks, then your going to be tossed in the air about 120 feet, then get hit by a car, then be chewed on by coyotes a bit, then drug threw the briar patch about 6 feet, then after that your going to be mauled by 3 bears with dull teeth, then your going to end up in the ICU but you will survive only suffering from major gashes from the fucked up day you just had, but don't worry your still alive because God has a great sense of humor..."

That ^^^^ was meant to be funny but I am pretty sure when I die, its going to be long & drawn out....

But yeah its all good!

"Wow, what an interesting program (your Japanese language site)."

It isn't a site it was a free program but I need to redo all the sounds, the layout, the alphabets, etc... I had done it 2 times but my computer crashed & I lost about 2TBs of programs, art, and other things I had made which really pissed me off. It would happen during the time I was coping all my stuff from backup disks to my 2TB HDD to put on a new DVD to take up less space being I had well over 300 CDs, and God knows how many DVDs that I needed to weed out & get rid of. Lets not forget those disks I didn't mark because at the time I burnt them I wasn't able to locate a marker lol. That is always fun, hmm I wonder whats on this disk? OMG! WTF!!! No just kidding...

Thanks for the replies & have a great week!

Nice to meet you, Tony~ that's awesome that you've lived in Hawaii, is that when you learned what you know of Japanese? I went on vacation there and was surprised at how many Japanese speakers there were my friend calls it "Mini Japan". :) Hope you find what you're looking for here!

Yes I learned most of the Japanese I know or knew being I haven't used it for some long now. I took it in high school at Academy of the Pacific in Honolulu when I was in school there, but I really didn't learn no where near as much in class as I did when I moved to Waikiki around the Japanese tourists. I learned the Japanese alphabet Hiragana in school but I got more out of home study that i did myself with a few friends I made from Japan around the island mainly when I would go body boarding as many Japanese also enjoy it. I miss Hawaii a lot, and who knows maybe some day I will return to stay though I wouldn't mind to live in Japan if that were ever a possibility.

Hey there... Thats cool & I am sure we aren't the only ones here just others haven't shared that part about themselves lol. I love taking pictures too & I was lucky to have found a few years back while living in Pigeon Forge a nice waterproof digital camera while tubing with an old roommate I had. I honestly thought it was a piece of mental so I reached down to grab it as I was going down some rapids to toss to the bank near by so that no one would get hurt if they stepped on it, but little did I know it was a camera. Olympus Stylus Tough 6020 & it had been in there under about 3 foot of water for about 6 months & still worked. I used it many times to make 720P videos of one of my old roommates chainsaw carving & his mom as they are chainsaw carvers & she is one of the best female carvers in the USA. I even have one of her videos I made some place on an old youtube account which I will look for here after & come back to post for anyone interested in watching her carve a bear out of a log.

Nice to meet you, and thanks for the welcome.

Haven't really met much computer programmers on here, so pardon my ignorant comment about that.
Lucky you, i own a sony cybershot (old model, 2010) but it's done miracles for me, works well too. Videos aren't too great but the quality of the photos go beyond my expectations every time. Plus i like the design, makes it seem as if it were made out of wood and metal. -- Sure, i'd love to see the video :) and have a great year! The pleasure's all mine.

Here is the video I had done for her of her carving a bear out of a log,
http://youtu.be/-0SXmgPabUQ

I use to have a lot more videos I did for them but I lost them in system crashes along with all of my programs, apps, art, and a lot of other stuff I had created. Almost every program I made over a 10 year period of time was lost. I use to help with some of the sanding, grinding, and getting the roughs to smooth surfaces so that her son which was my roommate at the time so that he could do the final detail work. I really enjoyed working with the ceder the most & I would spend about 3-4 hours grinding out the rough parts of a log just to make it look more like art. It was a lot of fun until one day I had one of his big pine logs fall on my leg & rip a nice big gash into my ankle. After that I was pretty determined to stay the hell away from logs standing on their ends. I wasn't able to walk for about 8 months after that normal without hopping or using a crutch. I didn't get full feeling back in that ankle till the beginning of this year which has been about 3 years now & I still don't have all the feeling back. The a little later I was doing some grinding & the driver slipped & caught my thumb which hurt like a ............. & after that I was over it. The grinders they used had no safety features so if you were to drop one it would still be going instead of like the newer safer versions you buy now that stop when you let go. To say the least I doubt I will ever use a grinder again safe or otherwise, and I sue as hell wont be walking near any big logs standing on their ends.

its a nice video though & yes I know that the video jumps back I did that on purpose.

Hope you enjoy watching it.

PS: I know I had some errors in my text on that YouTube account but for the life of me I cant remember which email account was used to set that one up so I have to make a new one. I don't use youtube much anymore as I prefer to host my own files on my own web space but its still useful for obvious reasons. I also need to redo the PalTalk one because of the dead link as I ended up deleting my domain off my space once because of issues with my web space which I later got fixed but forgot about that page with the links lol for the hosts file so that was a bummer. Not an issue though as its easy to get the banner links on there.

that's a bad ass video, liked the part where it speeds up her work, saves up time :) Great quality too!
Holy hell, that's horrible. You're making me fear the longs too man friend, doesn't seem to be a good idea, especially if you don't know proper safety measures. Same here, i'm not a Youtube fan myself, i just watch when a link is shared to me, but i too prefer to host it.

Yeah well the log didn't just fall but I wont go into all that. Lets just say if someone hadn't hollered my name I wouldn't have stopped & looked back instead of just continuing to walk away from the problem which I more then likely would have avoided. But it is what it is... It sucked balls! I have a nasty scare on my ankle from it but at least I am alive, and at least I can walk so I guess it could have been much worse though at the time seeing that hole squirting blood about freaked me the hell out. You see it in movies and your like right... What ever, but hey it can happen. I will see if I can find the picture from where I took one after they cleaned it with a plastic scrub brush. God I hated that doctor after that, and they hatted me when I told them the lady was doing it not him. But I got what I wanted, and I only got 4 stitches instead of 12. Still don't get why they suggested 12 it wasn't a huge area just a deep hole. Basically is scraped my leg, and ripped a hole in my ankle & smashed me.

Here is a picture of my teeth out this month.

I am still trying to heal from this. I noticed the Oral Surgeon left the root of a few teeth in my gums which I am not happy about. I guess it broke when he tried to pull it. I pulled one out the other day which hurt like a mother...... Bled a bit too but at least it wont be a future problem. The other one I cant get to & more worried about making it break & hurt more then it does right now. You would think after charging me a little over $5,000.00 they would have done their job correctly. I will be trying to pay this bill off now the rest of my life being I am on SSI. At 24% you can be sure I wont be paying anything but interest. Have a few root nerves on the surface of the bottom jaw area which are super sensitive. I hope my gums will heal over them. Not sure why they didn't stitch my gums together like my roommate had his done. I had stitches & lots of them but they left the holes open where my teeth were.

I looked for the leg shot but cant find it must be on a DVD or something I will keep looking...

Holy fuck, that's a lot to take in actually. But i'm sure it'll heal in time. -- Plus mexico's got good places where you can get proper dentures and all for as little as $800 one time payment (or instead, pay per visit.)
