Any social contact site has to be good!
That a great many of us are unable to reveal our deviant selves has always been a very isolating experience and until the advent of the web, it was very difficult to connect in any way and even if you did, it was Hobson's choice who the contact might be and if there was any real compatibility.
Now, if anything, we are overwhelmed with choice of partner or pen pal.
No one should underestimate the part that written language plays in getting ourselves over to others.
However, sometimes, Honesty, Candour and Enthusiasm is not enough.
People will always "Eat with their eyes" and some pursuits are futile and doomed!
Finding a new friend is still a daunting and quite time consuming effort and for me has meant using a scatter gun approach.
I have been frequently taken to task and I suppose I sympathise with my critics.
I find that if you are polite and 100% honest, people will usually say thanks but no thanks.
It is fantastic that we have Collarme and long may the site flourish and remain inclusive.
