I know that the flood & spam bot script on this site is to help cut down on spam, and people who are abusing the site & its content. I however hate that it picks everyone who sends more then a few messages out as a spammer though because I like to meet new people, and make more then a few friends as I am not only just here to find my life partner.

I am guessing this is why people say they cant find my profile... Maybe I have been marked. Who knows. I assure you though I am quite harmless!

Your profile doesn't disappear when you trigger the spam filter - that just stops you sending out messages for a while.

So, either you've got your profile set to 'hidden' which you can change in the edit profile menu, or your profile has been hidden for other violations - could be stolen photos, talking about illegal activities, asking for money. If you have more than one profile and one of them gets hidden by the admins, they might well all get hidden if they believe you are using multiple profiles to try and get around the rules.

Re the spam filter - it actually takes quite a lot of messages in a short period to trigger it. The other way it can be triggered is with a certain number of people marking your messages as spam. You might only send out a handful of messages but if everyone who receives them marks it as spam, you're getting filtered. It's worth looking at the messages you sent and checking up on yourself. Make sure you don't send a lot of messages that just say 'hi how are you' or that look like you've copied and pasted it to everyone - people report those messages. Also, I'm sure you're not doing this, but first messages about sex or abusive messages will get you reported as spam pretty quickly too. Really thoughtful messages which show interest in the personality of the receiver and show you have taken the time to read their profile are unlikely to get reported, and since it's more work and will take you longer, you're less likely to set it off for sending out a high volume of messages.

Additionally, many women have said they will Report as Spam if they give specific criteria such as location or age and a guy who is out of her area or not in the desired age range writes them anyway.

People who trigger the spam filter always seem to think it's triggered by the amount of messages they send out total, and they always seem to attribute their getting it on being friendly and talkative- wishing to connect with their fellow CM'ers. That's not how it works. The spam filter gets triggered by how many messages you send in a short amount of time, how alike they are (Hey, how are you?), and if your recipient reports your messages. It isn't designed to stop people having a conversation with others, it's designed to stop spam.

If you got hit with it, then look at what you're doing. No one cares what your reasons are for spamming, you aren't any better than others who do it for different reasons. No one cares if you define your messages as spam or not - if they fit the criteria, then they are. Adapt and move on.

I don't know... Does my profile show up for you guys? I never use other peoples content, I don't ever ask for money lol I am a 100% non profit disabled webmaster & freeware programmer (I give more then I take or get in life, just my personality), and I haven't broken any TOS as I am aware of. As for the spam filter I haven't been blocked from sending any messages I was just referring to what could be if in fact my profile doesn't come up for people. I know about the hidden feature & I have never used it on this profile so that isn't it.

Who knows...

I always take the time to read profiles in which I reply to or send a message. Seams like not to many people read mine but I still try to show the same respect I would like to be shown. If I don't take the time to read a profile before I message them & get marked as spam that's my own damn fault. I have my settings set to "Looking for male submissive" as to what they are seeking to cut down on the showing of profiles who are not interested in male subs. But as said I have no idea, only had a few people tell me it doesn't show up but I really have no way of knowing because shows up fine for me.

I have tried that with no response... I have even tried making new ones on other computers all of which are hidden now because I made them to see what the issue was. In any case they all do the same thing at least from this PC any way. That is why I assumed I was flagged in some way because it seams to only be an issue from my IP range as I have even changed my IP with my ISP. Its not a major issue I guess but if I want to find someone for a relationship it will make problems for me because they cant see my full profile. I have also noticed other people who have this problem a few of which I know is real life which I met here on CM.

It is my understanding that even if you create multiple accounts, if its an admin issue it effects all created ones globally. Keeps people from circumventing a ban. You just have to wait for a response. And a small reminder. This is the forum side, it has nothing to do with the profile side. I don't think they even talk to each other.

Ah hell man if I don't get it fixed fuck it... I at least get to enjoy the forums. I honestly never thought I would be interested in the forums here but I am finding it quite useful being I have way to much time on my hands & no life. Its all good, it is what it is.

I'm guessing you violated the TOS. I would go back and read the tos if you're not sure. It's the only reason you would not be seen by numerous accounts you have made.

I am pretty sure I did not breach the TOS as I always read those before signing up on any site if for nothing more then to cover my own ass. Unless I missed something not sure I did break any TOS, I really don't know what to think at this point about it but the more I think about it the less I care. Its not like its the only site online for lifestyle, though I have met a lot more people on this one then others.

I haven't looked but, when I specifically didn't look for your profile....I didn't find it.

When I did look for it.....I found something entirely not at all like your profile.

Figures it would be because of someone that I use to rent with who liked to make drama on sites mainly the ones I was members on. The same jerk that made me loose a few paid site memberships because he would login to my accounts when I was away from home pretending to be me & making drama with my friends on XBox Live, Steam, a few adult sites, my messenger IDs most of which is one reason why I don't use messenger programs anymore & I don't let people use my computer anymore either because I just cant chance that someone is going to do this to me again. I felt sorry for him because he didn't have a computer so I let him use mine to play games online & check email. Oh well, I tossed his ... out after that, and told him it was time to move on though I did give him 2 weeks to find a new place. I am not a complete ....... even if he acted like one at times. Any way, it is what is it. Hopefully CM will be nice enough to kill what ever it is hiding my profile from view because I would really like to be able to find my special someone & have my profile showing up.

Ewwwwww.... I am glad someone does because I sure don't of any type. I think the only spam I have ever had that I some what liked was a Musabi from Hawaii which is a Korean food which basically looks like a huge piece of sushi as its a little brick of white sticky rice with a slice of spam rapped in seaweed. Believe it or not that is the only spam I will eat.

On another note one of the admins (VideoAdminChi) here on the forums was nice enough to put in a good word for me with the main CM site, so hopefully this issue will work its self out. Thanks Chi for the help, its greatly appreciated.

Thank you very much to "VideoAdminChi" for your help in getting my profile to show up for people who click the view full profile. It was awesome of you to help me get this fixed, and thank you also to the staff here on CollarMe who was nice enough to fix this as well. It is greatly appreciated!

Yes they were nice enough to lift the problem. I am happy now... Just hope I haven't missed out on my chance to find that someone special but if so maybe I will luck out & find someone even better.
