Two dommes posting at the Ms. Christine femdom discussion board had an excellent set of suggestions for submissives who respond to dommes' profiles.

Their tips are on how not to annoy a dominant woman with common mistakes that subbie boys often make. The message (a short article, actually) is by a "Ms. Eden," and an unnamed domme friend of hers, obviously very wise and experienced women.

The web page is for Nov. 15 and should be up for the next month or two. Here's the URL:

I first posted this elsewhere - but I hope you enjoy it

PRE-MAILING

Firstly, make sure you're on your knees when you write the email. Tell me that you are so I know.

Secondly, ignore my profile. it's only there in case I forget stuff, it's not for anybody else's benefit.

Don't bother filling out your profile or having pix, I don't need any of that.

THE MAIL

Straight off tell me how much you adore me, worship me and want to serve me for the rest of your life. I really need to know this before we've met.

Tell me how to top you. I need to know this, I can't work it out for myself.

Tell me what a painslut you are. I never get to hear this.

Also tell me you will cross dress and do forced bi just for me coz I'm special.

Offer to serve all my Mistressy friends as well as me. Nobody ever does that.

Let me know that you've already mailed other Dommes and that they didn't reply and what bitches they are.

Give me your fantasies in minute detail. Every last move. This really turns me on.

Be like all the other subs. I can't be bothered with anyone different or interesting.

"P" is for perfect? I am laughing so hard right now.
I would add that you should always, always be sure to tell Me how "oral you are" and that you can go for hours and hours.
Subs and slaves. Take note and try to be aware that this is very tongue in cheek!
Go check out the 10 step thread, and do not cut and paste the letter given to you for example. That is the fastest way to get Me to hit delete.
