You know, honesty about who and what you are is really essential in your relationship with your kids. I know I expect my kids to be open and honest with me so why should there be different rules for me? My kids know I like to chain women up, and cause them some pain but I also explained that that is what everyone sees of BDSM, if not something much worse. When I explained to them about the trust element they understood it right away.
If your kid is old enough to understand it, sit down and talk plainly about what it is that you do. Sex and sexuality is so hush hush and evil and nasty in this country. Time to start whittling down that wall.
