I see this a lot in FD profiles, and I can't help thinking that they're really inviting people to do just that, since it's clear that it will cause annoyance ...

By saying "don't write", it's a challenge to many people on here. It's why they like bdsm....it's the thrill of the chase, the excitement of the taboo, the "shock" value. So the ones who write that on their profiles are shooting themselves in the foot and I would see the person as not very bright and probably socially naive.

I've seen it in all sorts of profiles. To me it states the person has a short patience level. If I were looking, and there was someone I was interested in but I saw that in his profile, I'd take him up on the offer, and move on without contacting him. His loss.

I don't really look at women's profiles, but I've seen that statement from lots of men who seem to be Dismal Doms. Like if you waste their time then what? They'll beat you for it ? [8\|] Wtf, like why make an almost-threat if there isn't an actual price to pay on the part of the time waster? What are you going to do? Reach through the internet and twist some arms? Nothing like a futile statement to make you look like you don't know what the hell you're doing, and you're full of shit. Stuff like that just makes me perversely want to go waste all kinds of time with the next scowling, squinty looking guy that says it.

Not into FD, but I do have this on the profile: "If you are not local, not from the forums, or someone that I haven't already met, and you send Me email, please do not expect a pleasant response....... I am very disinterested in wasting My time." Whatever a person puts into attempting to annoy over that is probably taking more time than it does for Me to hover over the message and delete it unread.
