No, and I do not want to. I am proud to be a coward and I am eager to hold onto my flesh.

That said: In my opinion sharks are just like babies - with LARGE teeth.

I've been diving with sharks around a lot in the past. Apparently I have also been swimming around them according to the people who were yelling from shore. I mean, wtf did they want me to do, walk on water like in the cartoons?
Ease into a slow breast stroke and then body surf in on the next wave worked for me.

Sometimes, especially on Yahoo news, I skim the article to get to the good stuff. the comments.

I went to another link within that link...to watch her rub a shark's nose and eventually...got it tail up, nose down on her hand, and lifted up high. That was totally awesome!

Absolutely amazing, she has that shark under her spell. She reminds me an a lady in New Zeland who swims with killer whales and looks out form them.

The closest I ever got to one (that I know of) was about 12 years ago and I saw it circling in the surf about 10 feet from where my boys were in knee deep water fishing. Looked to be about 7-8 feet long. Needless to say, that finished up the fishing pretty quick. [:)]
