that's not what I ment, what I was asking is why so often schools are the target, could even be media that don't report about an insane gunslinger that targets a train station so it looks like they always come after schools, but in the last 20 years in the other world there had been like 37 school shooting (wikipedia as a source so...) in the usa 105.

And I gave you the answer. These kids want to be remembered... go out with a bang... a train killing may not make national news.. unless its at Grand Central... but a school shooting will hit the international scene in minutes. If they stopped reporting the killers names, we may actually see a reduction in this. Anytime children are part of the targets in a killing, it will be mentioned.

ok sorry I wrote badly the second post, so there is actually a prefernce for schools because the mediatic eco, but my question was more why you have so many compared to the rest of the world?

~FR~ I used to ride my bike past that school when I was a kid, it was ~ a half mile away. I lived even closer to another school, which is why I didn't attend the one in the news.
