Enigmabrat....as far as i'm concerned.. NOT A DAMN THING... but there are quite a few who believe when ones uses "true" "real" in screen names.. and or profiles... red flags go up... or they're ignored as being fakes.. wankers.. etc... been a few threads on them..and post of them in passing. MoGA.... you got that right... got tired of not having my paddles...LOL... LOL Bita.. ..... thanks... was getting drafty standing about nude BBBTBW..... Nicely put...and I agree all the way. The thing I believe that got me the most... was even though I state this is just a screen name... it became more than that to me.... and the more the "true" was being attacked.. the less I felt comfortable. So thinking I would feel more at ease...and ease others.. I switched.... not the best idea i've ever had i'm telling you. I was so uncomfortable...I started taking notice of attitude in my post on the fourm...and in conversations with others contacting me in e-mails and IMs from CM. During the couple of weeks I used other name..I felt like fake. I felt so outta my own place that it was just making me uneasy... down right mad. Granted it's just a screen name... but it's who I am...and how I think see myself... think of myself... and glad to see others seen it too.... thanks everyone for understanding. Sorry if this seemed like an attention thread... But I just wanted to say TRUE was back........... [:)][:)][:)][:)]

truesub4u i agree totally. a screen nic is what we chose for ourselves, and something we personally identify with for our own reasons. there should be no right or wrong about it. some nics may offend or give people certain impressions of that person, but that is all personal perceptions. glad to see you back under the nic that makes YOU most comfortable. aintbehavin.

never hide your "true" self from anyone. if others don't like it, it's their tough luck, not yours. i'm me and after some careful thinking (and encouragement) i've decided that i shouldn't have to change for anyone (except the one that captures this lil brat). keep your head high and never let anyone change you (at least, not too much...LOL)

LA makes no sense. How did she put it... it's not the word... but how it's used. It makes others feel cooler about themselves... I don't feel cooler.. I in fact feel comfortable. I don't feel cooler...... I feel.... ME... I have no problems with others opinions about words. But the words are there...and they're gonna bother someone. Hell if I'm called a bitch... I smile and say thank you.... others get pist and want to fight. If i'm called a whore (by my dom) I swoon and say thank you... someone else... Probably gonna get their ass kicked. So yes it's how words are stated....and by whom. But they are totally different words... when saying bitch or whore...and true or real. Saying True... doesn't make me feel like I'm cooler... doesn't make me think i'm more real or not next to someone who doesn't use or like the word true... it just simply describes me....as I see me.. for how I want someone to see me... and get to know me..that I will want to get to know. Because I feel comfortable being able to say... Yes..I'm true.. to myself... and that's what we look for when we meet people..... we look for them to be real.... and true... in all they do in life. Actually LA.. this wasn't about you personally. And you only helped in your post about the word "natural" being used. As far as me personally... No I never made mention that I was personally attacked on the forums about my screen name. And it's not so much the screen name...as the use of certain words.. that have been attacked.... because someone doesn't like the way it's used.. or.. how was it stated... tossed out there to make them look cooler. Screw the damn screen name...LOL....

Nothing is wrong with those words. They're just words. Use them if they are right for you. Glad you stood up for yourself, truesub. Just because some people are loud and/or verbose doesn't mean they're right all the time. They're opinions, they're not gospel. Now the WAY words are used can be irritating. But it's no reason not to use them if they fit the bill for YOU.

Words are just words, how you react is your choice. People have tried to get a rise out of me by calling me various things and they never succeed. I either calmly thank them, or calmly ask how they came to that conclusion. If "True" or "Natural" means fake than what words are we to use? If someone chooses to see those as red flags it's their choice, probably not worth your time anyways.
