Greetings A/all,
 
There have been a few threads about keeping cool and refreshed in the heat and humidity. 
How many of you folks have 2 different wardrobes for the dungeon and play parties, 1 for winter and
1 for summer?  Care to share any tips for staying calm and cool
when the temperature is rising?

I find drinking alot of water helps to keep me cooler.  Of course, I don't have a problem with the heat either.  Apparently, I look good in sweat *w*

Actually...no

I just glisten more when it's hotter lol

though I suppose I probably do wear more skirts in summer than in winter.  Having a huge leather fetish and living in Houston, I'm pretty much screwed any way you look at it

I am a big fan of robes.  They cover everything, but are sensual and sillhouette the body perfectly.  And easily on and off!  So when the summer heat comes around, I just pull out some of my short satin and chiffon robes.

When you can't be naked at least- always my preference.

Yeah for being naked!  lol  For those summer dungeon and play parties it is nice to wear
just some neglige' or a tank top with a sarong. 
As much as I love the corsets and bodices, those just have
to wait for the temperatures to go down.  Plus I love playing with
ice cubes and Otter Pops and Slurpees!  And there is always the
fun of skinny dipping in the pool, river or ocean.   [:D]

*Chuckles* I can't even bring myself to wear leather in the WINTER in Houston!!!

Then again, I'm always in trouble as a relocated Yankee anyway.

After moving to Minnesota from California, I discovered what is meant by the term 'layers of clothing'. Going from 40 below in winter (I grant such is with a windchill factor) to 100+ degrees in summer, there are times when clothing of any sort simply isn't optional. :)

Living in Dallas (as was said about Houston) leather truely does have a season.  Sometimes it is just too hot to wear, anytime of the year (esp this past winter / fall).  I like the light, airy blouses with a pretty bra underneath (sea thru blouse MUST have the RIGHT bra under it) and the long or short flowing skirts that are out now.  I love that feminine dresses are in this year but they are not always easy access....blouse and skirt work better. Torrid.com has some wonderful short / flowing skirts for larger sizes.  Nothing tight for me until after September....I like to be comfortable.

These of course are my preferences and since I am single, I get to say what I wear.  Of course my wardrobe would be dictated by the Master if I were taken.

I love wearing black full length slips in the summer.
Some of them even look stunning with boots.
I also like the half slips and a camisole top...Its comfy and cool.
Another favorite is silky boxers and a camisole top or a sports bra.
I like skirts too with a tank top.

These are kind of basic things you can dress up to create any persona you want.
Like a Goddess,Librarian,Teacher,you can even get the interrogator look.

Im english, that means that i get to have a wardrobe of four seasons. Well, that's as good as an excuse as any.
Rubber, pvc, leather, corsets + menopausal me in summer = feint. Not the most attractive subspace i go to.

robes are great, i really like these.
silk is wonderful
camisoles and knickers are good for flouncing around the house in lol

I have found that swapping opera gloves made of satin, is cooler than latex ones.

Often, if he's choosing the outfit, its too hot. He's not yet twigged that boots dont go with everything!

I found that Hakama pants with a gi is quite cool and breathes well while still helping to create a presence.

Perhaps we should copy from the gays who see nothing wrong with the top wearing nothing but a G String, vest and boots!
