I saw a McDonald's billboard playing on the "not vanilla" theme vis-à-vis their French Vanilla coffee. I was indeed amused.

Never heard the phrase. But I love vanilla. I buy Penzey's double strength vanilla extract by the pint. I add three times the amount called for in a recipe. And I've been known to open the jar and just breath deeply for a while.

Now we're talking haha, see how conversations spark over a phrase that's.. Well.. Vanilla. XD Although I wouldn't know about being called one myself since I tend to try everything at least once and see where I goes from there haha. And yeah that's true, McDonald's tend to go non-vanilla on people especially in their commercials haha. I love vanilla too, especially when you're swirling your tong around the ice cream :)
