Yes, and I am very sorry to say that it ended in a great deal of heartache.  Our parting was not amicable and W/we are not even on speaking terms now.  Nonetheless, I learned much from the experience and am looking forward to meeting another submissive male who will hold a special place in My heart.  I do cherish the positive aspects of My previous relationship and discovered some major pitfalls to avoid next time.
 
I do know of other Dommes who have fallen in love with a submissive male and are now enjoying happy long-term relationships.
 
I owned several others in the past that I did not fall in love with and am still friends with most of them.

Yes I fell hard for my pup. The pain of losing him was the greatest I have felt in years. The good news is that we are back together. May not be such good news for those who know the whole story between us, but I have to follow my heart.

Yes, I am in love with My slaveboi and have been involved with him for just over a year.  I also have am in love with My long term male partner (10 years plus) with whom I live with and share My life, My partner is My soulmate and true love of My life, He is also a Dom. Polyamory is working for U/us. My slave is collared to Me and My BDSM lover.  Love is truly grand.

Yes I loved my slave/husband; and I have no doubt I will love a submissive man again should I meet that special one. Love is a wonderful human emotion that I think is necessary to complete us all. Having said that, over the years I have noticed a definite lack of the ability/personal makeup to love and be loveable (at least what Sternberg defines as consummate love) in submissive men. Just my experience not meaning to give offense.

Yes I have and we've been together a year and a half now. I couldn't love a man who wasn't submissive. As I view sub males as the strongest and sexiest type of men.

Every man I've ever loved has had either very egalitarian views and personality or submissive qualities though usually he was very selective about who he would submit to.

I would hope that every dominant woman gets to experience this type of love. I fell in love with a slave recently. Not a bio male bit transguy ftm. I always love my slaves. The relationships might be slightly different but I love them nonetheless.

I always love my pets.  I wont enjoy having them serve if I didn't.  AS for falling IN love with them, which we all know is far different... yes, I have been IN love witha pet before as well.  The relationship between a pet I have been in love with and I was fantastic, one of the best I have ever had the pleasure of being part of.  With the right boy, I would want it to happen again. (Wish us luck, I have the chance to meet my new boy, and there is a good chance we will fall IN love... which is what I am hoping for)

But for the short version answer.. yes, it does happen.

Dear MiladyLily, Ladies and Gentlemen;
 
Love is a very over used word, to which love can mean most anything.  If you mean 'romantic' love, I have had a few slaves that I had romantic love with as well as the love bonding that most Master/Mistress-slave relationships have.
 
Each person that enters my personal space is 'loved.'  I am that type of person, to which wishes no harm on anybody.  I love people and want them to succeed and be extremely happy. 
 
The slave I had last, slave robert--was much like the Harry Potter's house elf, Dobby.  He was the tender gentle heart, that loved fully.  He also had mileage as a slave, so I wasn't his virgin experience and in the lifestyle for 18 years to my 30 plus years.  We parted ways in friendship and we're still kind and good to each other.  He also is a nurse, so compassion is in his makeup--to which I am attracted to.
 
At the moment, I have a part-time; as I am a care giver to an elderly parent but, he is way far busy but, delightful and a bantam weight body builder that goes to the matches/competitions for such.  I also have several masochists and bottoms at my disposal at the snap of the finger.  However, none are like the slaves that have worn my collar and served me.  Different energy and a different kind of love.  I have no problem finding playmates but, it is the slave to match with--is difficult.
It boils down to where they are sex driven--that kind of 'love'--not the unconditional love that might be more a kin to friendship, loyalty, duty, family love and or, with a spatter of romantic love.

Not yet, but considering the level of twitterpation I've felt for a playmate, it's entirely possible. [:D]

I have cared for all My pets in the past, and I used to think I would be happy existing with this 'devotion'-oriented love. For Me, it turned out not to be as fulfilling as I had anticipated, despite giving it a few tries with very deserving subs. I'm convinced there is more, and I remain hopeful for this. ;)
