From my limited web-serfing, I got an (may not be fully scientific) impression that over the last 10 years, the portion of women in the whole women population is on the rise, is it true from your experience? Is Domme culture is on the rise? I remember in the past, dominant women is relatively rare. Comments, please!

I posit the actual percentage of female dominants is proportionately the same as it always was. Because of internet access available to just about everyone, it may SEEM there are more. Also, the epidemic of pay princesses calling themselves dominants may give the impression there are lots of actual dommes.

In the real time community, which is the only place I'd care about, I haven't noticed any appreciable change in the last 10 years.

This makes sense to me. IMO, it's cultural and not biological, and Western culture has slowly been shifting in that direction for a long time.

Myself, I think over the past 10 years, the number of Dominant Women using the Internet has risen, too. So it is very likely in the same proportion as always. The one thing I have noticed though, the number of younger Ladies (20-30) who are aware of Female Dominance. That MAY have increased dramatically.

It can make certain things seem to be true when they are not. For a simple example of this, consider the viral disinformation of news media blogs and how much they get things wrong while influencing popular opinion, nonetheless. Between fake profiles on networks such as these and virally increasing finger-flipping sex capitalists with shapely posteriors, how many more dominant females are there, truly? A young hot siren opportunistically taking advantage of male sycophancy is not necessarily dominant. Socioeconomically speaking, females seem more in a position to exercise dominance than ever before. Whether that's really happening or not is very hard to say, once you get past the jaundiced opportunism, porn, kink, and ubiquitous sex work (and good luck untangling those threads).
