It is an intriguing concept, especially given the scope of varied sex toys currently on the market, but i don't think so. However, i think the percentge is a troubling commentary on the state of interpersonal relations in the digital age.

Does anyone remember an 80s Twilight Zone in which a paraplegic was asked to test out a lady robot carer? Now I realize Zone's rarely end well, but this thing fell in love with him & went completely mental on his arse, it started out gorgeous & became steadily less so as the episode progressed [:)]. I would have to have a serious think before indulging, I must say.

Just by the by does 'Frankenhooker' count as a sex robot? Opinions please!

You're right, look around you in public, everyone's linked to something else in cyberspace, nobody wants to interact in the real world anymore. Technology should serve us, not the other way around. It's the new opiate of the people, & we will come to grief.
