Greetings,

With the holiday season coming around i've been looking up recipes/concoctions/formulas for various lotions, conditioners, etc that can be made at home using natural ingredients. i'm planning on including some of these solutions with Christmas presents. In doing this i've found myself wishing that i had a Female person upon Whom i could use these pampering aides (just think it'd be an incredibly relaxing thing for both me and the other Person and of course, i don't think a Man would appreciate it like a Woman would!). Soo, anywho.....this all made me wonder if there were any subs/slaves out there that concocted such things for their Mistresses(/Masters perhaps?) and if so perhaps some recipes could be swapped!

Well wishes!

Ok, I will be of no help to you, well maybe a little help. Not as much help as someone who actually knows what they are talking about..hehe. Hope that made sense.

I've never made any of these things myself. However, it is on my list of wants to learn.
Doug has 6 neices. Every christmas we ask them what they want. They tell us a gift card to bath and body works. So, this year I went out and bought cute little reusable boxes. Over the course of the year collected cute soaps, shampoo's..stuff like that.
One implement as well. Facial scrubber..or curling wand. Manuicure set. Whatever, each one had a battery operated machine.

Split them up a couple of month's ago per child. I wanted to make my own soap. Throw in a bar to each one. Or some gel. I ended up throwing in one of my candles instead.

I know you can purchase kits. Which is what I would do until I learned enough to branch out. I don't know if they have Michael's craft stores where you live. They do here and there are about 15 different kits to choose from. Check out your local craft stores.

The best lotion I have ever bought was actually off of the internet in bulk. If you do a search for unscented lotions in bulk. You should find many to choose from. You just have to add essential oil to it and mix it up. That will help with the lotion. Same thing with the shampoo and conditioner. Not a lot either, a few drops should suffice.
Get some cute little bottles from your local craft store...and you'll be doing well.

So, I guess in retrospect I know a little to help you out. Just not a good idea on how to make the soap. However, I do have a link or two to help you out with that part. The really good links are on my home pc...my internet is down at the moment. Tomorrow the cable man comes.

Here is one you can check out now though.

Hope, I helped a little.

I've never had a sub or slave make these things for me (but would welcome it). However, I am a crafty person and have made bath salts for the church bazaar. Here’s the recipe:

A collection of small containers, preferably glass, with lids.
Plain (not iodized) table salt. A round container makes about 3/4 to a quart of bath salts.
A vial of a nice smelling oil, either a fragrance oil or a body oil (body oil is probably better). One vial makes about a quart of bath salts.
Food coloring
Zip lock baggies
Scissors
Sharpie marker

Pour the plain salt unto the container you wish to fill. Don’t fill it to the brim; the extra moisture that will be added to the salt will make the salt take up more volume, so leave room.
Using a measuring cup so you can keep track of how much salt you’re using, transfer the salt from the container into a zip lock baggie. Make sure the baggie is big enough!
For each cup of salt used, add 2-3 drops of food coloring and 2-3 full eye droppers of oil to the bag with the salt.
Zip the bag closed.
Thoroughly mix the coloring, oil and salt. There should be no clumps of color or streaks of white salt.
Turn the bag upside down and cut the corner off the bag.
Fill the glass container with the salt, letting it flow from the bag out the clipped corner (the bag is now a funnel).
Close the lid on the jar tightly and label it with the fragrance.

You can make up several colors of the same fragrance and use them to make sand art with multiple layers and such. Enjoy!

there's a book called A Gift of Herbs. It may have a lot of what you need. I make a LOT of crap and if you have any exact questions feel free to mail me. Soap is a great gift, or I hope because I've given a lot of it, but it's a little late to start a batch now.

Greetings,

Thanks for all the wonderful ideas!! (sorry to the Mods for having posted in the incorrect section at first!).

The bath salt & soap ideas sound perfect especially since most of the recipes i've been able to find are very organic based and as such have a very short shelf life.

Here's a link to some more recipes that i've found...

More pampering!

Thanks again!
