Who here has any tattoos? I am planning my first right now and I would like to know if there are any good forums to go to to ask questions. I'm kind of stoked about it but I really don't want to end up on a Worst Tattoo reality show, so I am doing my research.

Any suggestions or anything else would be greatly appreciated.

I have ink!! I have a symbol for beauty on my right shoulder blade. It in Japanese.

Then I have the beginnings of a hummingbird sleeve on my right arm. I want more!

They say it is addicting. What I want is going to be fairly large. I guess it is one of those, "Go Big Or Go Home" kind of things, so I am jumping in with both feet.

If you look very closely at the avatar, on My left breast you'll see three small hearts. Pink, purple, and turquoise. My other half has My first name on his chest with similar hearts around it. I only have the one. (I consider the three hearts to be one tattoo.) My other half has six tattoos in total.

I can't tell you anything about ink forums. Sorry about that.

Best research is to go up to people and ask them who did theirs. It took me 3 months to find a place for mine. I asked a lot of people... and people with tats love to talk about them.
