What's a Sub Hunt?
Hell, we don't really know...but we've kinda structured ours like a flag football game. We'll play in a large field with lots of trees, bushes and hay bales to hide behind. Those who wish to be chased/caught will get a number of 'tails' that will Velcro to a belt one at a time - and a head start. Those who wish to chase/capture will then set off to grab all the tail they can find and catch. Run out of tails and you're out of the game. The winners will be the person who captures the most tails in the allotted time AND the person who loses the fewest tails.
That's basically our version of a Sub Hunt. We're still sorting out the rules but we'll set the game up with the idea that it's all good (mostly) clean and (totally) safe fun for everyone. We know it might seem appropriate, but you're not going to be allowed to bag your prey and drag it back to your mancave by the hair. Grab anything but a little tail - the cloth version - and you'll be sorry.
Why? Because you'll miss out on the camaraderie of a cookout after the game and a play party after that! In other words, you will be escorted off the property
The cost to fill the toy bag for a proper Sub Hunt could become a bit steep...
