I don't think this is a great mystery. We'd know it if any but government forces had fighter jets and only one government force in Syria has the ability to allow its jets to fly around at leisure looking for targets.

I readily admit to being totally out of the loop on world events other than financial and even that I've lost detailed track of. So this may seem like a stupid question but... "Who's govt? Syria's or the US?"
