Pesticides and additives are raising cancer levels sky high. Fast food chains get huge rewards for making us all obese. Supermarkets stock mostly processed nutrient deficient so called foods. Hello Chance. I am not a high school drop out nor a scholar and I do not always use perfect written language. We are a society of indulgence and fast speed. Fast food chains do not make us fat, we make us fat, but chosing to eat food we know is full of fat. We use all these pesitcides and additives, to increase food production, and additives to keep it fresh longer. Again a choice, if we have the ability we can grow our own food to prevent that. People in power even with the best intent, usually have peer pressure to compromise, only men of great strength will not compromise. Truthfully sometimes their hands are tied also by the majority ruling. Greed also plays a role in the decline of our society. We can complain all day about "them" but we are part of them. Taking responbility for our own actions is key for change. If you are a high school drop out, go back to school, have faith in yourself and don't give two hoots about greif given to you by people on a message board.

DarkSteven, I'm not an American..... but I sure do love American money. Care to share? OP - a wise therapist once told me that we accuse others of the behaviours that we ourselves exibit. Perhaps you should look at your original post, and change "Americans" to "I", and then try to analyse why you dislike yourself so much. edited to add - I've lived in America for thirty-odd years and find Americans by and large to be charming, personable and pleasant people. They definitely have their faults, as does the rest of the worlds populations.

Once more, I have to deduct points for spelling and failure to capitalize proper nouns. I will also have to deduct for improper paragraph structure. A paragraph deals with one topic, then you start another paragraph. Clearly this is not the case in your rantings. In another topic, I suggested you might have, at best, an 8th grade education, at this point I think I gave you more credit than you are due.
