What is it about fast food that seems to bring out the worst in people? I saw another video recently where some guy was all bent out of shape because he was asked if he wanted cheese on his hamburger. He went into a big tirade over the difference between a cheeseburger and a hamburger. I'm reminded of the scene in Falling Down where Michael Douglas was in the Whammyburger wanting to order breakfast but they told him he had to order from the lunch menu. I'm not sure, but I think at Jack in the Box, you can order either breakfast or lunch any time of day. A lot of restaurants are starting to get more flexible in that regard. But some places seem to get overly fixated on their rules to the point where they're ready to do battle to enforce the no chicken nuggets at 10:30am rule. (In the time it took them to argue about it, they could have whipped up a quick batch of chicken mcnuggets.) I think that some McDonald's start the lunch menu at 10:30am, while others seem to wait until 11:00am, so it may have been an honest mistake to assume that they'd have chicken mcnuggets available at 10:30am. The time of the switchover isn't always prominently displayed on the menu, if it's even on there at all. What's also weird is that the 24-hour McDonald's won't let you order breakfast until after 5am. If you're an early riser and want breakfast at 4:45am, you'd have to order a Big Mac or maybe Chicken McNuggets.
