This is a little off topic but thought some of you would like to see the kind of people who try to pass themselves off on this site. I can't decide weather it's scary or sad.

From [username moderator redacted]: How can you be Owned and have a Singles Profile and still actively seeking Men! oh and by the way, Just try and sue me for stealing your pictures! this is a public site you MORON!

You should edit out the name ('cause the mods will do it for you) and report the asshole

Yep. Hurry up and edit out the name, or you may just get a nice gold letter from a mod. (which isn't as much fun as that sounds!)

The sender is actually right in a way.

I could take anyones picture off this site and then I could use them to my hearts content.

There is really nothing they could do. What a lot of people just don't have the brains for. What happens if its a non-US company that decides to use them. Oh yeah.... Good luck with using them.

From some of the threads on here, most are just getting by. They don't have the means to pay of their next car payment, or even buy food. So good luck on them getting an attorney who is going to bunk down for a long campaign.

Long story short, no one is ever going to sue about pictures.

Look at brandi passante of storage wars fame. She only received $750 from her lofty claims of $2 million damages in her Porn suit. LOL, yeah right.

This is why I'm never going to put up pics in my profile.

There is something you can do.

You should report stolen photos by going to the offending profile and hitting the "report photo" button. Admin will ask you to verify that the person in the photo is really you by sending them a photo of yourself holding a card that says your username and the current date. This system works very quickly.

It's idiotic when people are rude for no good reason. Who knows why some people like to run around pissing on others.

That said, it's also a little silly to start a thread warning us that such people exist.

Actually the op just needs to drink a large strawberry milkshake, have twelve mind blowing orgasms in four minutes, smoke a cigarette and forget about the person.

Op, ignore and delete. You will get a couple hundred of those in a short span of time.
Don't waste your mind and emotions over them.

Yeah, it happens. I got tired of the assholes too, now I just hide my profile. It isn't going to change, accept the drain on your emotions as part of the currency of doing interpersonal business on the internet, or take your profile down.

It isn't particularly scary or sad or even unusual to this site, it's just part of being on the internet. Buck up and learn to deal or try some other way of meeting people

Btw, this example you gave wasn't very nice, but isn't the worst by far. There have been whole threads on letters people have received that would curl your hair - bodily harm, minors, animals, anything you can dream up, it's happened.
