Hi there. I'm surprised no one's started this yet. Well, I have two things to say.....

One, all systems are go for my gastric-bypass this month on the 16th. I've already started my pre-op diet which consists of.....not much. I need to shrink the liver all I can beforehand. Fat people normally have a lot of fat around the liver and the liver sits on top of the stomach, which is kind of in the way of the surgery, so that's why I need to do it, to reduce the fat on the liver.

Two, there's a guy who was living in our apartment building whose arse is in a sling bigtime legally for multiple reasons. He won't be returning here but he's almost 100% sure he will be going to (at least) state prison, based on all the stuff they "have on him." So I've become mommy cat to a one and a half year old beautiful brown tabby who was his, but she needed a safe place to land and I was it, so I will be her forever home now because he will be gone for years.

Well, the scales and I are having a fight...it keeps going up and I have been restrictive in what I eat.

Meanwhile, Bo and Lizard won their eviction case. Before the landlady (total greedy bitch) started another series of paperwork, Lizard found a new place in a complex. They moved in on Saturday with Little Bit, Sushi and Binx. Bo hijacked the large office desk so he can keep his paperwork in it, Lizard gets his corner desk and the small wooden desk gets to be next to the kitchen for the microwave. At least Lizard saved my two endtables for the bedroom. Lizard was complaining about her back hurting but she got into the fitness area and did some weight lifting and got those muscles to relax. Between the 2 of us, we found 2 bingo halls, a few restaurants (one Bo checked out yesterday) and perhaps a pool hall. Need to check that out myself.

I got back with a group of online friends, old roleplaying buddies. Can't really advise them about what characters to play and their abilities, but since I am the history buff, I am used to pinpoint certain events in history.

Happy September to everyone.

It's early in My time zone and My head isn't quite clear so I'll try to do My best. As of some time after 1:00 AM this morning, I officially completed the "Holidays in Wax" project that I was working on through most of August. In the end, we did an American flag, a Leather flag, a Christmas tree, a separate Christmas collage, a Halloween scenario, a set for the upcoming New Year, and a Valentine shot. I have two more folks who have approached Me wanting to be 'turned into' something, but the seven above were the original plan. Most of the above culminated in almost non stop wax play over the course of the last three days, five wax bottom models, somewhere around thirty-five pounds of wax, and I've honestly lost count of how many hours of prep work. I have well over a hundred pictures that I'll be loading on the other site over the course of the next week.

For the regular world, MP and I are doing just fine. We did find out this past month where the road will be taking us after Alaska and it's not where we were expecting. We'll be headed back to the lower 48 in May. We're already both talking about all of the things that we have on our back to civilization bucket list, even though it won't happen until we finish out these last eight months here.

I hope everyone is having a wonderful Labor Day weekend and is looking forward to a great September.

I hit the wrong key and just deleted 3 paragraphs! Long smancy painted nails and one hand that isn't quite a co-ordinated as it normally is = bad typing. I will try and recreate.

Lady P, where in the lower 48 will you all be moving to next year?

All going relatively well here. Aside from small motor skills and a little less strength still, the wrist and arm are nearly back to pre klutz move. Before the horrible heat wave of the last couple weeks, Generic Dude and I've been getting back to hiking as usual. I've even been able to lug around some camera gear and take some okay shots here and there. I am REALLY looking forward to my girls being here so I can work on some smexy smexy ideas I've got brewing in my brain. A gallery has even tentatively agreed to show the results if I come up with anything I really like. Think, old 20's and 30's pinup ish, B&W, with a hint of kink. I'm not a fan of, in your face, porn type stuff. But not unrealistic glamour type shots either. So we will see.

Also, in that same vein, Generic Dude is helping me set up a more permanent studio space on our lower level. It's just too time consuming to try and work on some things here, when I have to set up everything I need, every single time. Down there I can have all my gear more easily accessible. And, for one project involving a scanner, a desk with a separate computer......all dedicated to the photography biz. I have several hundred great old family photos, some dating back to the early 1900's, 20's and 30's. A few dozen of which my grandfather took while he was in a circus in California. They are really awesome shots and very marketable if I can get them scanned and printable. I just have to actually DO it. Having a dedicated office with desk, studio with all my gear, etc......is really going to be nice and a lot more productive.

The job I started at the end of January is really going well. At the time they only had one position open, as receptionist. I really wanted to get on with this company even though that was not the position I wanted, but I took it to get my foot in the door. Well, last week I was offered the position I wanted, given a pay increase and one very sweet bonus. It will be a few weeks at least, before I start, but I am very happy about the whole thing. The bonus allowed me to get most of my winter supply of hay, as well as putting a bunch of meat in the deep freeze. And one piece of photography gear I'd been wanting, a new speed light.

I won't boor anyone with the less than wonderful stuff. We all have our troubles of various sorts.

Howdy from the Central Coast, where September begins our best weather season of the year!

As some of you who helped with name suggestions already know, there will be a 3-person incarnation of our original 4 piece band to keep up with gig demands. We will start preparing to play contras, previously not possible since one band mate lacks the chops and desire to play challenging music at dance speed.

I...well...I ordered another custom accordion from Saltarelle. 35-key 60 bass, all hand-made reeds, swing-tuned PA, to be specific. I swear on my cats' tails this will be the last. It cost almost as much as my car, but the button melodeon from the same company (and honestly, its player) had too many limitations to use for the type of music we play. It'll arrive some time in October. I attended a concert where the young lady had just bought the last one in the US, and she was so happy with it I couldn't resist. She let me play it; it was perfectly balanced, reasonably light, and the slightly-wet sound in person gave me the same goose bumps I'd get when listening to recordings.

Still battling the vacation rental situation next to me, but at least the entire month of September the idiot owner's mother will be there and she's fairly quiet and quite nice.

Just a few weeks 'til harvest, and barring any bizarre weather events, S and I should get a nice crop of vegetables and herbs.

Huck's back from his research trip and was able to get the information he needed. He was even invited onto a radio show there to talk about his upcoming book. CB and I talk a few times a week by phone, but between working, parenting and taking care of his mom we've been unable to get away for a few days at sea. Pity that; the weather's been extraordinarily beautiful and the ocean as peaceful as a high-mountain lake.

The online yoga-on-demand has been a godsend and lifesaver. Life is good!

I know I'm kinda late to it but happy September folks.

I took some time away, due to my hectic schedule but I think I am back. Lol I have been really busy getting my 2 new websites up and running and working with other producers. I am hoping in the next few months to have a 3rd open.

My UM, started speech therapy today after a long drug out battle with the school district and more specifically his home school. His first session went well.

I am headed back into court with my exhusband over child support modifications, he's not happy but it's not about him, me or us.

NBMG - I hope your surgery goes well.

LP - I hope the next 8 mths go quickly and smoothly for you.

Hi All.

I had surgery on the 16th, it went great, I was discharged on the 18th, and by Friday the 20th I'd already lost 17 lbs! WOOHOO!! I feel great!

whoah, where did most of September go?
My Consort made the trek south from Olympia, yet managed to swipe the center median on the way whilst trying to avoid most of a truck tire.. means that My lovely Subaru SUS pimp ride with none-ya-bidness windows has Just been sold and I'll be tooling around in a newer not so dark or dangerous Outback. Going to put gold tint on the windows anyway.
This weekend, it's the Folsom Fringe for Us - I'll be helping out with the 'take a crack at it' on Friday between 5 & 6 = intro to flogging. Come on out and say hello!
