This evening I received the following in my Inbox here. "typical time-wastin cyber FANTASY-flake-phony :(-" That is all there was to the note with the person blocking me. I find this rude, impolite. narrow minded, and uncommunity like.

I would have liked to reasoned with them to find out why they feel this way about myself; a person whom they do not even now. I would rather prefer if they get to know me first and then tell me what they think - rather than telling me what think before knowing me.

I wouldn't give it a second thought. it shows far more about that person than yourself. if you know that you are genuine, and feel that your profile puts you over that way then what does it matter what someone else thinks.

it takes all sorts to get some people going. you just helped someone feel 10 foot tall and justified so feel better about yourself.

Why?

You're trying to rationalize why some weird stranger would feel some way about you. Why do you even care?

Why do you care about what crazy strangers do?
Why do you take anything that happens on the internet personally?

Did the letter trigger a control issue because they blocked you and you have no influence over what happens next? They judged you an insignificant person to them and wrote off with a click of the ignore/block button, it's over and you have nothing to say about it.

I get obnoxious messages several times a week.

Delete, block, move on.

No fuss, no muss.

Why would receiving a negative message from someone you have never met, cause you any distress?

MstrPBK...some folks come here to poke people with a proverbial stick and try to get them upset. Since they don't really know you, all they are responding to is some fantasy image they have in their head from watching too much BDSM porn.

IMHO, it makes the little "Master baiters" feel powerful and naughty and superior. I doubt they would want to give up those feelings...they're not here to learn about the lifestyle. They take what they really need from us, a platform for their little speech, then they ensure their victim cannot have his say.

I'm not suggesting that anyone makes another profile, maybe as a hot, horny young woman from his state and town so that he will be motivated into opening an educational letter. (Yes, I need to watch a cat torture a big ugly bug or something.)

FR - There are a few people out there who simply enjoy being rude, especially to others who are different from themselves or like different things. They don't add anything of value to a discussion or community and IMO are best ignored completely.

So you're a Dom (a Master, no less) who gets worked up over judgemental calls from anonymous cyber strangers?

I'd see a dodged bullet or at least a skeeter that decided to sting someone else as I shrugged and deleted. Three wise words for the future - "consider the source".

Conversely, maybe your profile has a few (too many?) lifestyle cliche's that provoked such a response? Not that I can be bothered looking, but food for thought?

Focus.

The Interwebs is like a forest of trees and in that forest there are lots of people who show themselves to be dogs: whenever they encounter a tree, they lift their leg to take a piss.

Fuck them. Delete, block and move on.

It really doesn't make any sense that this is bothering you. There are some strange people out there that use places like CM as a place to boost their ego and poop on whoever is available. Why give it a second thought? Would you sit and listen someone who accosted you in public and ranted in your face? I think you'd push past and move on with your errands. Not sure why you think this person has anything of value to offer you, it was an attack, brush it off and move on.
